New York Times article details Palin's political machine.
Sarah Palin has clarified for the first time in a newly published interview that she is seriously considering a presidential run.
"I am," Palin told New York Times writer Robert Draper when asked if she was weighing a run in 2012. "I'm engaged in the internal deliberations candidly, and having that discussion with my family, because my family is the most important consideration here."
In a personal profile to be published in the upcoming New York Times Magazine, Palin said her decision would involve "evaluating whether she could bring unique qualities to the table," admitting the biggest challenge would be proving her record.

“LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress — in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, I’m not for amnesty. Let’s ratchet this down quite simply to remember what we’re referring to. Illegal aliens are called “illegal” for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if they’re not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.”
So, she should have been run into bankruptcy over politically motivated lawsuits and lies? You think that would have been fine, don't you. Are you so intellectually dishonest to realize that without her, McCain would have been blown out 65-35% ? Or that 31 of 43 of her mid-term endorsements won? Or that the Tea Party movement would be significantly weaker without her (wait, let me guess; you sneer at the Tea Party, too.)
Do you see the word fence in there. I didn’t. Did she state what those humane ways of dealing with the illgals is. NO, she did not! Path to citizenship is amnesty, so what is her plan? Why won’t she say?
Honestly I don't remember any of the details of this, only that it was appeared to be a trumped up 'scandal' by the Palin's political enimies. 'Troopergate'! A bunch of crap!
It was one of the first attempts at bringing her down, and there have been dozens of others since then. Her political opponents are some of the most vile and hateful lying scum of the earth who have gone to great lengths attacking the Palins.
Associating yourself with them tells me everything I need to know about you.
You keep asserting I've made some type of positive statement about this issue when I don't even remember the details. nor do I really care, it's OLD NEWS.

While you're at it explain exactly how this would have any affect on her performing the duties of any elected office.
And then, could you please let us in on who you support? It is amazing how these anti-Palinbots come out in droves but won't admit who they would prefer as a candidate.
All elections are a choice between candidates. Is Sarah perfect? Of course not...so let's do some comparison. Attacking in a vacuum isn't fair...

How does she plan to get them out? If it isn't possible to just deport them, then how does she plan to get them out if they don't follow the rules? Why will it suddenly be easier? What rules? They already broke the law, but what rules? Pay a fine? If we can't locate them to deport them, how does she plan to locate them to collect that fine?
She's the best candidate we have, BUT, I want her to tell us how she plans to deal with this. I think she won't tell us because her plan is to shove scamnesty down our throats.

It could mean anything and we’ll have to wait to see what her official policy will be when she announces.
What is clear from her own words is she is NOT for amnesty, as she emphatically states, twice.
You're not supposed to ask practical questions about St. Sarah's pronouncements.

I've noticed. I like her on a lot of things, I just wish she would get off the fence and quit dodging and tell us flat out what she would do with the 12 million illegals. If they get to stay that is AMNESTY!. Why that is so hard for so many to see is hilarious.

However, with Palin, she states emphatically that she is
“not for amnesty” and follows that up with “if they dont follow the rules they can get out.”
Logic wins.
How is she going to get them out? And if you can get the, out that easily then why not just get them out and be done with it?
Well, we can wait to see if she announces and wait for her official issues statement or we can just “make stuff up”.
