Today's review of write-in ballots ended with Sen. Lisa Murkowski enjoying an apparently insurmountable 10,420-vote lead over Joe Miller.
Murkowski also now has collected more votes that went unchallenged by Miller ballot observers than Miller's total vote count. That makes it appear as though Miller's lawsuit to seeking to toss out misspelled votes is irrelevant, since there aren't enough of those for him to win.
The Division of Elections has now counted a total of 100,868 votes for Murkowski. Miller has 90,448.

BUMP!
this will have ramifications....
libertarians and independent idiots gave the seats to the rat each time....that, and much corruption statewide....
I'm sick of hearing its the candidates fault all the time when instead we have a truely STUPID public and a truely corrupt election process that is slanted towards the rats....
Reagan couldn't win with this corruption....
vetted candidates?.....like the rats ever vet their candidates?...Reid and Cuomo and Boxer and Brown have so much dirt in their past yet the STUPID voters and the corruption got them in...
stop blaming OUR candidates first.....look around....one would think a family man, a Ivy league grad, a military man would have a leg up on a stupid, bitchy, lame, ruling class creep who was gifted a senate seat...
They had a pretty well coordinated smear campaign against Joe Miller after the primary. As we now know with the the inadvertent recording of the two journalist, they were so in the tank for the B@#$h that it was just a lot for Miller to overcome, especially, since Miller was so well positioned to pick up every liberal vote in the state.
Well said!!!
Seems to me therin lies the problem. We have laws for everyone to abide by. That is everyone but the politicians and smart lawyers.I doubt there is such a thing as an absolute law. They are like words or the word is,they are left up to those who wish to interpet them. I would as soon go back to the law of the fittest as to where we are headed. Our country is in a sorry state of affairs and lawyers and politicians are the only ones that are not getting sued.
See above, they already have.
I'm not certain if they are purposefully ignoring the “Conservative” part of my statement, or just too impulsive to finish reading it. I am not wont to promote RINOs; but there was nothing wrong with candidates like Tark in NV or Norton in CO, both of whom would have won those seats, both of whom were acceptably Conservative and vetted candidates.
Miller was a fine choice, until he got Murkowskied. I am all for flanking RINOs in red state primaries. Lugar should be next.
If we did not learn a lesson about electable Conservative candidates, then we are doomed to repeat past mistakes; and few elections will have the GOP enjoying the wind at their back like the 2010 elections.
I’m just disgusted with this whole charade.
Joe Miller deserves better.
Whether they are being dishonest or merely irresponsible, it’s sad.
The reds can call themselves whatever they want, but the "FREE" states will not be swaddled in commie red, thanks a lot.
Anybody who thinks the "law" is anything other than whatever the guy with the most power and balls says it is, and can back it up, is a retard.
Socialism is slavery and there no place for slavery in any one of our states. That’s how I view the 14th amendment.
ZERO TOLERANCE FOR MARXISTS IN FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS
Truth is Murky stole the election, and Newt (Rove, McConnell et al too) couldn't be happier
Mille isn't giving up though.
Murkowski is about to come on the Gretta show, I imagine Gretta (a liberal) will congratulate her and have a nice schmooze session.
He is a good man. I wish I could meet him.
I would like to also
I was in Anchorage last month, and went by his campaign headquarters there
Many people were busy stuffing envelopes for mailers and distributing yard signs and making phone calls.
He wasn’t in that area though, so I didn’t meet him but did meet a lot of good conservatives!
