I hope the senator’s remaining time in DC is utterly miserable.
So, absentee voters are going to be disenfranchised?
Joe Miller should not concede until every last vote has been counted, and that includes the absentee ballots.
I thought they weren’t counting the military absentee votes until Friday.
Miller needs to take this to court. The Division of Elections is ignoring Alaska’s legal requirement that absentee votes must be correctly spelled.
If you want to go by “intent,” you have to change the law first.
Easy to be confident when the fix is in ...
It seems as if the Murkowski camp (AND the compliant media) are putting out lots of “the counting is over and we won” reports in hopes that Miller will concede. Starting tomorrow, I predict, they’ll start with “if he cares about what’s good for Alaska, he’d concede” nonsense like they did with Bush in 2000.
Why are there so many Murkowski loyalists in the first place since she lost the ticket to Miller. Something is not right.
The cheating is almost done, and the judges in Alaska appear to be crooked (Murkowski’s father was behind their appointments).
I hope Miller takes this all the way to SCOTUS if necessary. Princess Lisa is indescribably horrible.
Thank you, Republican leadership, for making nice and refusing to remove her from her committee assignments. If this woman gets in, I hope she makes your life miserable.
I am confident her moocher constituents will be left flat with no freebies. A Pork Queen With no Pork.
This seems like a good opportunity for me to remind conservatives and smaller gov’t type folks that they put their hopes in a party that has room for electing either a Murkoswki, or a Joe Miller.
Seems like the GOP has an identity problem. I suggest we either help them sort it out, or just leave.

A federal judge today turned down the request by the Alaska Federation of Natives to intervene in the lawsuit filed by Senate candidate Joe Miller challenging the method used by the state to count write-in ballots.
The AFN, the state’s largest Native organization, wanted to join the state’s side in arguing that the Division of Elections was correct in counting slight variants of Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s name as proper write-in votes. Miller said that only precise spelling should be accepted......
“The State of Alaska is responsible for and fully capable of representing the interests of all its citizens,” Beistline said.............
The state is seeking dismissal of the case on the basis that federal court is the wrong jurisdiction to hear Miller’s complaints that a state agency violated state law. It says the matter should have been filed in state state Superior Court.
End snips....

This makes me SICK.
This woman is awful. I wish she’d switch parties. Her core is more RAT than GOP.
The article is written from the prespective that the end of the election is the counting of the remaining write-in ballots.
The absentee ballots have NOT been counted and won’t be until tomorrow or Friday.
Miller will win these votes, and the election as a result.
Then this Cow can be udderly discarded once and for all.
