McALESTER, Okla. Members of a Kansas church that protests at military funerals may have found themselves in the wrong town over the weekend.
Shortly after finishing their protest at the funeral of Army Sgt. Jason James McCluskey of McAlester, a half-dozen protesters from Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kan., headed to their minivan Saturday, only to discover that its front and rear passenger-side tires had been slashed.
To make matters worse, as their minivan slowly hobbled away on two flat tires, with a McAlester police car following behind, the protesters were unable to find anyone in town who would repair their vehicle, according to police.
The minivan finally pulled over several blocks away in a shopping center parking lot, where AAA was called. A flatbed service truck arrived and loaded up the minivan. Assistant Police Chief Darrell Miller said the minivan was taken to a Walmart for repairs.

Couldn’t have happened to nicer folks...
A little payback.
AWESOME!
Karma!
My first thought, if the ban was left unattended and identified, why wasn’t it burned?
Not the most charitable thought, but would certainly be my consideration. Glad to hear town refusing to help.
boo
freekin
hoo
It was bound to happen sooner or later.
I have listened to these people and the most glaring thing that stood out (besides being stark raving barking moonbat nuts) is that they avoid any mention of Christ like the plague. If asked direct questions about Jesus, they quickly change the subject. These people are not Christians. This is a cult of nutjobs by nutjobs and for nutjobs.
There really does need to be a cost for their actions. While it should never be physical harm, the cost shoud increase to a point where it is no longer worth it to them.
Y'all come back now and don't be strangers. Nice to see you and say hi to the folks.
They’re lucky it wasn’t their throats that were slashed.
I have news for the WBC nutcases. Come protest at one of MY family’s funerals and see what happens to you.
They should of put sugar in their gas tank.
My theory is that they are leftist trolls.
Outstanding. A feel-good story to start the day.
Cry me a river.
Or a banana in the tailpipe.
Looks like folks are finally getting to the point of action.
Does this “church” actually hold sunday services? Or is it merely a front.
Does this half-dozen or so people constitute this whole “church”? I can’t imagine any real Christian attending such an institution for Sunday worship.
Fred Phelps is indeed a life-long Democrat. Even held a fundraiser for Gore.
