Ohhh, ouch! As an antique car lover, this kind of stuff makes me cringe.

AND, it’s probably a 50/50 chance the delivery person was an illegal, and uninsured.

Thank goodness no one was hurt. The antique cars are fun to look at but they certainly don't belong on the road.

Behind distracted drivers on cell phones, I rank pizza delivery people as the #2 hazard on the road.
Based on my observations:
#1 - Cell phone users
#2 - Pizza delivery
#3 - Drunk drivers

For the sake of conversation: The last year for the Model A was 1931. If the car was a ‘32, it was a model B. For what it’s worth.

Didn’t know that. I guess the journalist either got the year or the model number wrong.

The Model A was produced through 1931. When production ended in March, 1932, there were 4,849,340 Model As made in all styles.

It’s fortunate that the old man suffered only minor head injuries.
I would have thought that the modern pizza delivery vehicle would have sustained more damage than an antique car.

Why shouldn’t they be on the road?

I delivered Pizza back in the mid 80s for a short time. One of those National 30 minutes or its free franchises. If we delivered it late then the profits lost came out of our pay. So the kids often raced to get to their destinations, taking all kinds of chances. We learned the traffic light patterns and knew just how fast you had to drive to make the most lights. Our customers were on to us as well. They watched the clock carefully, hoping to get a free one. Some used stop watches. It was stupid way to run a business. Putting those kids lives and others at risk. I think they changes the rules since then.

I guess the journalist either got the year or the model number wrong.Given the state of journalism, we're lucky he didn't call it an Model AK-47.

You know not what you speak about. I own many antique cars and they are just as safe as the junk Obama Motors is forcing people in. If this fossil was tooling around in his Smart car he may not have survived the incident.

The antique cars are fun to look at but they certainly don't belong on the road.Where would you have people drive them?
Most in-town traffic doesn't exceed 35 MPH, and some of those old cars could do 120 new or fully restored.
A lady here drove a Ford B model, bought new, until she died.
She cut a deal in the '60s with the Ford dealer in town who wanted to buy it from her, that if they maintained it (free), they could have it after she was gone.
They kept it in tip-top shape, and she drove it the rest of her life (another 30+ years). She didn't want a new car, because the old one was extremely good in snow (high clearance), and she didn't want to learn how to drive all over again (set the spark advance, etc.). In sevaral decades she was never involved in so much as a fender bender, and the automobile was meticulously maintained.
When she passed on, the dealer got the car.
