The antique cars are fun to look at but they certainly don't belong on the road.

Why not??

They are grossly under-designed — particularly in safety features.

Narrow tires, teeny-tiny brake lights, teeny-tiny turn indicators (if any) , deficient bumpers, inadequate mirrors, no head rests, excessively rigid frames (no crumple zones), inadequate seat-belts (if any), rigid steering columns are some examples of the under-design problem.

Also, while some are indeed hot rods but too many are slower than prevailing traffic.
