THE 40-year party at the Playboy mansion, a renowned symbol of sexual freedom and excess, may be drawing to a close.

Hugh Hefner, its octogenarian master of ceremonies, is coming under pressure to sell up and move out.

The tycoon is trying to ride a financial storm unparalleled since he introduced the US to mass-market soft pornography with a nude centrefold of Marilyn Monroe in the first edition of Playboy. Hefner launched the magazine in 1953 by pawning his family's furniture for a few hundred dollars.

Now his antiques, art collection and mock-Tudor mansion in Charing Cross Road, Los Angeles, may become collateral in a struggle for control of his financial legacy.

On the every cloud has a silver lining front - putting this old degenerate out on the street in his jammies would be one positive in the world's economic downturn.

I pass by that place here in L.A. when I show out-of-towners where Heff lives. Nice hood’. The best one was a year ago when I did just that and there was a catfight outside the mansion with 2 brunettes trying to pull each other’s hair out and guys around them were laughing. Good times..

The first thing you would have to do is hose the place down with bleach

then bulldoze “the grotto” ( sriously, would you want to go in there? )

Although Hefner he never met Monroe, whose nude photo helped make his fortune, he has bought the crypt next to hers in a Los Angeles cemetery.

For those that might not know...

At her funeral, celebrities and big shots flew into Los Angeles from all over the world, to attend Marilyn funeral...

Joe DiMaggio who was in charge of her funeral service, told them all to forget it, they weren't invited...All the celebrities and fat cats were all pissed off.

Joe said "They killed her", and sure in hell aren't attending her funeral service.

At the service in LA, thousands tried to look over the walls to get a glimpse, only to see a couple of people, unknowns if you will, seen walking behind the Hearse to Marilyn's final resting place.

I thought Playboy did go public? Even if he’s broke now, the guy had a hell of a ride (in more ways than one).

Oh yeah. Like that one by Shockley in 1980..., or the story that became Shep’s “Annual Fourth of July” story.

The man has lived a sinful, indulgent, narcissistic, misogynist life. He has been a wastrel and pied piper leading several generations astray from the true value of humans, especially women.

This situation won’t change anything for him, he will die in the lap of luxury having lived well off the weak and greedy nature of others.

I pray God is kinder to him than I would be.
