Barack Obama hasn't even finished the second year of his first term in the White House, but officials with two universities that are interested in building his presidential library are already positioning themselves to win the Hawaii-born president's favor.
The University of Hawaii is well into early preparations _ including preliminary searches for potential sites, talks with National Archives officials and deliberations on what if any new academic center might accompany an Obama library and museum.
The University of Chicago, located in the city where Obama's political career began, signaled an interest a year ago but is saying very little now.
And Obama is saying even less. Asked to discuss Obama's views about a presidential library, a White House spokesman simply said, "No comment." frpa

1). They should have teleprompters on prominent display at the door.
2). They should have fake Birth Certificates and college records under glass locked cases about 10 feet away from viewers and under heavy tinted and blurred glass.
3). Why not put the library at the Hospital where this leftist DEM(ie)-god was born?

No, it should go either out on the landfill on Oahu or on Koho’olawe (the Target Island).
These folk better wait till he’s gone before they decide whether or not to build a library. I have a feeling he’s not going down in history kindly, and a state might end up sorry it ever had anything to do with him.

I predict Obama and family will go to Hawaii in 2012 for Christmas vacation and never return.
He will have during the previous 4 years robbed this country of its' dignity, its' diversity and its' Christian values.
We will spend the next 50 years trying to again make this country what our forefathers intended....a GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE BASED ON HIGH MORAL PRINCIPLES.

I vote for the University of Nairobi. Here's a photo I just found at their web site:

You can be certain it will be the University of Chicago. Hawaii is too far for most people to visit, and they certainly aren’t going to go there to see his library. What’s interesting, though, is that they apparently think his library is already up for grabs. I guess they don’t have much confidence he will be re-elected.

What...Kenya not in the running? I am sure the Univ. of Mombassa would be a good location. They might even display his birth certificate there.

The Library should go to Howard University.
It’s only fitting.

Oct. 2008 -
According to our Indonesian sources, "officials" who accompanied Faleomavaega were interested in acquiring any and all documentation or photographs of a young Barry Soetoro for America's "national archives" and they were offering cash, lots of it. In a show of faith, Barack Obama's childhood school would be one of the very first beneficiaries of this outpouring receiving thousands of dollars to upgrade the school and for the purchase of computer equipment, thanks in part to the benevolence of this visiting junket.Obama's Mop Up Man

So the University of Chicago may have had an attack of sanity? No problem--there are lots of universities in the Chicago area.
I would suggest they look into Chicago State University, Northeastern Illinois University, or Governors State University as possibilities.
