This is a very good possibility. Anyone agree? Or disagree?

The author demonstrates a mind-boggling ignorance of submarines. Nothing could be more different than a Swedish diesel-electric with AIP and the Chinese Jin-class SSBN.

I wonder how much stealth technology that the Swedes are using came from our silent propulsion secrets those bastards at Toshiba sold Russia?

The recent news CBS video report (below) about the contrail that the military says was from a plane, but many are claiming to be from a missile contrail is what I speak of. What drivel. There was no conspiracy between Los Angeles-area radar operators to conceal a missile launch.

It's just a blog rant, Amos, and based on information that's not new. While it has some true generalities, they are extrapolated to grossly over emphasize the threat.
On the other hand, no surface ship is EVER safe from submarine attack.
Politically, China won't piss off the US market by doing anything just off the US coast, they've got everything they want already, and Zer0 did it for free.

What better way to keep enemies from developing real undetectable subs than saying you can’t detect them already.

Geez, anyone could tell you that the Ronald Reagan has not sunk, but is still floating *ABOVE* the waves.
And we aren’t at war with Sweden, because they haven’t attacked it in the first place.
What a mind-boggling stupid title for the article.

Has anyone bothered to recover the missile? I actually floated the idea of a missile being fired from a deisel electric operated by another country but upon hearing it, I think the possibility is remote. I think it was some kind of mistake or malfunction on the part of a U.S. Navy soldier. That’s the most likely explanation.

The Chinese have been working on AIP for its conventional subs for several years now.
The Swedish Stirling system using liquid oxygen and diesel is considered less efficient than fuel-cell technology that the Germans and Russians have developed or are looking at.
