They have to be forced to represent the legal citizens of this country, and every single one of them is too mealy-mouthed to ever speak the unvarnished truth and not backtrack and apologise after doing so. Anyone looking to politicians for their hope of this nation’s salvation is in for a big let-down. We had to force our own party to not vote for amnesty, and with all the problems we face now, they’re still keeping this simmering on the back burner, just waiting for a chance to sneak it past us.
