I am surprised she chose TLC as the venue it is looked down upon as a reality series network since the John and Kate plus 8 fiasco. Much rather have seen it on National Geographic channel so she wouldn't get critized and put into a reality show catagory

We were discussing the program this week (Are really looking forward to it) Dad said it is worth millions in political advertisement and could possible guarantee her the nomination and the Presidency. With the books, better than anything else she could do to further her political position.

I have always wondered how the number of viewers was calculated. Do cable companies supply statistics on what their customers select to view? I thought in years past when we received our television signals via the air waves, you had to have a set top box of some type to gather this information. Just curious.

When I was in sales, among my customers was a company that had a monster data base and controlled the timing and content of commercials for all of the cable companies.

In addition they monitored the usage of each company, by home, TV set, time, day, frequency etc.

Because cable is a two way medium every single event that is viewed on any cable is recorded and the stats are down to the second.

They know if you are watching or channel surfing, if you like porn or sports or daytime or 3:00 AM viewing.

The cable stats are far more accurate than over the air, because these are real numbers, not projected numbers based on a Nielsen sample.

When they said that FOX had 6,905,407 viewers on election night and msnbc had 1,904,200 the advertisers know that these are real numbers and that their message got to 3 times the number of people on FOX vs msnbc.

I think their main beef was that she promoted aerial killing of wolves to thin the packs, because they were hunting down all the wild elk, etc. She said many people hunt for their food in Alaska and they can’t allow the wolves to take food out of their mouths.
She actually fought big oil, but the left claims she was in bed with them.
