CAIR said Muslims who object to full-body scans for religious reasons should know their rights if they are required to undergo a pat-down, including asking for the procedure to be done in a private place. In addition, CAIR offered a special recommendation for Muslim women who wear a hijab, telling them they should tell the TSA officer that they may be searched only around the head and neck.

So does that mean that they dont get to ride on the plane?
They can walk from one airport to the next airport.
The better to file suit to get consideration for Sharia law, you mean.
I don’t know about ya’ll, but I am getting REALLY tired of CAIR and their nonsense. I don’t want to be scanned with one of those full body things either. And I certainly don’t want to be grope-searched. Doesn’t mean I get a special pass suspending TSA security policy.
Islamic law is not U.S. Law, now get over it.
Would this apply to cross dressing Homos?
Forgetting that 99% of terrorists are Muslim, it is wrong to give a groping pass to any single group. Orthodox women are forbidden to have any men touch them but their husbands or sons. And really, not many other women want that either.
You can’t exempt only hijab-wearers from this.
They have the right to an all expenses paid room with striped sunlight at the crowbar hotel. That's what WE get, so it's the least we can do for THEM!
That is butt ugly! We probably paid a couple grand for it, though.
I’m with YOU!
If they refuse a search, don’t let them fly.
This is a really interesting issue. One the one hand, of course the United States should not bow to Sharia. Of course, the people who are responsible for this awful invasion of privacy should not be the only ones exempted from it.
On the other hand, at least the Muslims are sticking up for the modesty and privacy of their women. All the other men are just standing silently by while their wives, mothers, and daughters are groped. Hmmm.
I would, then I’d gleefully take it off on the plane. No way they get just the head and neck and I get groped or xrayed.
We should ALL wear hijabs to the airport. That’ll fix this.
