Obama Has a Listening Problem
Wall Street Journal ^ | Nov. 11, 2010 | KARL ROVE

The idea that government can spend our way to prosperity doesn't make sense to voters.

The rock star Sara Bareilles sang at President Barack Obama's Las Vegas rally for Sen. Harry Reid in October. Her biggest hit, "King of Anything," includes the lyrics, "You've got the talking down/Just not the listening." That pretty well sums up Mr. Obama's reaction to last week's midterm.

The president rejects the idea that voters don't like his policies on jobs and the economy.

For crying out loud. Tokyo Rove is citing lefty teeny-bopper music lyrics to go after Obummer. You don't have to dig that deep to call him out as an elitist bastard like you Karl.

Obama has an obsession with shoehorning America into his warped little private world.

The John Birch Society republished THE LAW so all the brainwashed sheeple figured it must be radical.

The commies have done a lot better job pushing their plan than we have.

This is one of the reasons the "fiscal only" Tea Party folks freak me out, their vision is so damned narrow they can't see most of the threat.

We are being hit from a thousand different angles, if you only focus on one you'll still bleed to death from 999 cuts.

Right now most people are focused mostly on the economy, it's a valid concern, but we're still getting bled from behind.

I've got to ask myself, why do these people want me to ignore all the other issues, are they really on my side?

Well, I must say that the quote from this song in the last paragraph of Rove’s article is rather accurate!

However, Rove is assuming that Bambi really cares. He doesn’t. He knows perfectly well what we think and he simply doesn’t give a darn. His project is to destroy this country, and nothing is going to get in the way of that.

I read yesterday that he just handed over another $150 million to the Palestinian Authority as part of his “Muslim outreach” program - this at a time when we need every dime of our money here. He just wants to give away the store and hang up the “Closed” sign.

I don’t think he has a listening problem. The problem is he is only listening to whoever is on the other end of his blackberry.
