Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and the head of China's Central Military Commission, Guo Boxiong, on Tuesday signed an agreement on developing military cooperation between the two states.
"First of all, it concerns contracts to supply spare parts for air defense systems, aviation and navy equipment," the minister's spokeswoman said. The document was signed during a meeting of the Russian-Chinese intergovernmental commission on military cooperation in Beijing.

The russians don’t have anything more that the chinese can steal from them so you have to figure that these days the
chinese are starting to feel friendless.
Or more likely this agreement covers maintenace for
russian equipment that chinese have. the pla is throwing them a bone.
It is going to be China + Russia + North Korea + Pakistan VS USA + Japan + India + Taiwan + (believe it or not, Vietnam)
you’ll have to throw Cuba, Venezuela, Iran in with China/Russia.
That’s what it sounds like to me, too.
I doubt Russia and India would be on opposite sides. One or both of them might sit out.
Taiwan is falling into China’s orbit, in case you haven’t noticed.
As for Vietnam, you’ve got to understand that China controls both the water and electrical power supply of that country. There is not going to be a shooting war between the 2.
It can be a low-intensity war of attrition and other hijinks. Asians are good at this.
Things can change in Taiwan just as swiftly as they do in Washington, D.C.
We could just lump that in and call it “RO[E]W” (Rest of Evil World)......
Vietnam may be set neutral or given the Philippines in exchange for China getting the Spartlays. Vietnam still hates the US.
Later on after the US is out of the picture, China will go in there.
