Key Republican: Palin cost us the Senate
The Hill ^ | Nov. 8, 2010 | Jordan Fabian

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) cost the GOP control of the Senate, a powerful House Republican said.

Rep. Spencer Bachus (Ala.) said that Tea Party-backed candidates whom Palin endorsed underperformed against their Democratic rivals, costing the GOP key pickup opportunities.

"The Senate would be Republican today except for states [in which Palin endorsed candidates] like Christine O’Donnell in Delaware," Bachus said at a local Chamber of Commerce event last week, the Shelby County Reporter wrote Sunday. "Sarah Palin cost us control of the Senate."

Bachus' is one of the most visible Republicans to criticize Palin for her political activity during this election season. Some Republicans have privately groused that Tea Party-backed candidates who were not electable prevented the GOP from taking control of the upper chamber.

Sheesh. What an idiot you are!! Nevada had a Republican primary race. The Republican VOTERS in that primary race rejected all the RINOs and voted for the constitutional conservative, Sharron Angle, for the senate slot. If you can’t live with that fact and fully support the candidate, then get the flock outta the party!! Effing turncoat backstabbing RINOs make me PUKE!!

The Las Vegas Sun is a wholly owned leftist Democrat propaganda rag. Doesn’t surprise me that a RINO like you would use it to attack one of our constitutional conservative Tea party candidates. Idiot!! Get lost!!

For every example in this election like those, there is a reverse story to be told. A strong conservative newcomer beat the bejesus out of Russ Feingold in a strong democrat state. Ohio went very strongly in our direction, especially in the Senate race. There are others. It has been said well a strong conservative can win anywhere, but they have to be both a good candidate and conservative.

We do have significant challenges in these larger cities and any state that includes one or more large cities where machine politics seems to be able to turn out ridiculous numbers of Democrat votes. Your example of PA is a good one. No Republican will ever be able to win big in PA because the Philly machine somehow gets massive vote turnout even in a down year like this. The combination of public and private unions, ideologue liberals, young voters, and poor/minorities has created a massive voting bloc that wants their big government goodies.

Your comments about Palin or COD would be irrelevant if ankle biters on our side didn’t contribute to the problem. What conservative person with an IQ above 23 wouldn’t vote for COD if the party had been behind her from the get-go. The state party and key national figures dumped on her within 10 minutes after she won the primary. This is disgraceful. I am not going stop voting for good conservatives to let people those traitors run this party. I would rather the party lose and lose big so they are chased out so we can get good leadership. The same assh()les bitching about Angle and COD are the ones in charge in 2006 and 2008 when we lost big. Now we are winning big, and we have to hear this crap. Screw ‘em.

I don’t have a candidate for 2012 yet, but if it comes down to the current bunch - Romney, Huck and Palin, there is no question I am in Palin’s corner. Obama already showed he will be able to manhandle Romney with his opening shot this week comparing Obamacare to Masscare, and he is absolutely right. Romney is done before the race even begins, just like McCain in 2008.

We have to fight these battles internally and clear out the insiders so we can even compete in 2012. We may be in a no win situation, either ending up with a McCain clone that satisfies the insiders, or selecting a good candidate that will get undercut by the RNC wizards of smart. Could be a lose-lose.

Interesting!

Those areas are RAT-infestations, and filled with illegals, perverts, and government employees living off us taxpayers. Governor Moonbeam ought to send us thinking Californians into revolt and it shouldn’t take long!

Save for gerrymandering, there’s no explaining the victories of Loretta Sanchez over Van Tran, Filthy Filner over GunnyPop and Susan Davis in San Diego.

Maybe that 14 person panel we voted for by over 60% to serve as the “independent” re-districting board, will actually do its public duty and fix the districts that have served the democrats to their advantage for the past decade.

Here’s a fact for you. This conservative site will be supporting the constitutional conservatives in all races in 2012 whether their names are O’Donnell, Angle, Miller or whatever and whether propaganda-pushing, RINO pushing idiots like you approve or not is tough!! RINOs and RINO lovers KMA and go to HELL!!

The rebellion is no longer brewing!! It is ON!!

Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way, but whatever you do, knock off the incessant WHINING!! Reality says we cannot and will not win every race, but we’ll cherish our victories, take our losses, regroup and fight on!! And we will NOT dampen the spirits of the constitutional conservatives with the guts to step forward and lead the charge!! ‘

Now either STFU and get with the rebellion or get the hell off this website!!

Thanks for your personal insight into the arrogant Bachus. He needs to be primaried. Please find a Tea Party challenger for him.

He's a damn Romney bot.

I don’t understand why you people blame or give credit to Palin for anything that happened in Delaware. I didn’t vote for COD because someone waltzed in from the outside and ‘blessed; her. I voted for her because she was the only choice left after we got rid of Castle. Most of us didn’t even know where Palin stood on the woman and couldn’t have cared less. The plan was dump Castle and see if we could head off Coons. Not many of us gave a rat’s patootie about what the Republican establishment wanted. What have they done for us lately?

“Spencer Bachus is a ROMNEY BOT!

No wonder he slammed Sarah Palin today!!!”

All roads lead to Romney and quite frankly to the Bush surrogates like Rove, Gillespie and Gerson.

The fight with the Establishment is underway. People like Bachus need well financed primary challenges. This guy has been in office for 18 years. It is past time for him to go.

“No bag limit on corrupt bastards and turncoat RINOS!!”

Glad to hear that, Jim. We are going to go after the RINO Establishment even more than the Dems. The road to Washingon leads right over the Establishment’s carcas.

The Establishment must be confronted and vanquished before we get to Obama.

No compromises, no more Bushes or Bush surrogates on the on the ticket. We are going to purse the GOP of this filth just like Bush drove the Reaganites out in 1988. And when they are gone, they are never getting back in.

I don’t trust any of these Establishment saboteurs. I think Palin is wise to their ways.

“Bachus is a RomneyBOT”

How about posting a few pics and articles (your usual) of the gutless weasel who is behind the cowardly and stupid attack delivered by this knucklehead Bachus, but who lacks the intestinal fortitude to do his own dirty work?

1. I supported Angle with my time energy and money.

2. Even if the Sun is owned by the devil the story I referred to is EXACTLY right on. I was HERE in Nevada and watched it happen.

3. I am on with the rebellion - part of that is learning the enemies tools and techniques. Learn or lose.

4. I have forgotten more about Nevada politics than you know.
