GOP May Probe Panthers, Sestak Offer

The new leaders in the U.S. house may open official investigations into the New Black Panthers case and President Obama’s job offer to Joe Sestak.

On the day after the GOP took control of the House, two Republican leaders openly critical of Obama will have subpoena power as the heads of two powerful House committees.

Lamar Smith of Texas will oversee the House judiciary committee and Darrel Issa of California will chair the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Both men have been critical of the Justice Department’s handling of the New Black Panthers voter intimidation case in Philadelphia, and the alleged attempt by the Obama administration to get Sestak to drop out of a primary race against Arlen Specter.

And now both men will have the power to compel people to testify before Congress.

Smith, in particular, was a driving force in getting the Justice Department to investigate the New Black Panther incident that happened in Philadelphia in 2008.

The political Web site Talking Points Memo thinks that Tuesday’s second incident of a New Black Panther member appearing at the same polling location could open the door for another investigation.

THere are a tremendous amount of breaches of security from the White House on down that need to be investigated. We need a revitalized House Internal Security Committee to start digging into the red pile of crap that Obama has brought into the government.

With no oversight in Chicago or during obama’s first two years I'm sure the anointed one’s crimes have been committed in a very sloppy manner. These investigations should be very productive and great fun to watch. Break out the popcorn.
