Other states joining Missouri's argument are Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia. The states are not parties to the lawsuit, but rather filed their legal brief as a suggestion to the court. Their document cites laws in Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia that it says are similar to the Arizona law.

Hopefully Ohio and a few others states will join the fight!

.....Their document cites laws in Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia that it says are similar to the Arizona law.....

Bu it is ARIZONA that the Feds are singling out for attack!!!!!

Arizona is the Serbia of America—the leader in resistance to obamunism and the New World Order!

Arizona—by the Lord’s help—can save America!!!!

Arizonans should learn the truth about the valiant Orthodox Christian Serbs, and stand in solidarity with them. They should form Arizona-Serbia friendship organizations.

There are two (I believe) Serbian Orthodox parishes in the Phoenix area, one of which has services mainly in English. There is also a historic Serbian Orthodox parish in Bisbee (the Serbian community was there in the early 1900s). However, most Serbs have moved away from Bisbee, so the church is only open on major feasts or when the Bishop (whom I know) shows up.

Thanks Army Air Corps!

I can only gather from the article the participating states' attorneys general have joined with Arizona on this particular point. Gotta wonder where the rest of the attorneys general are; like Greg Abbott for example, who was on the obamacare suit like stink on poo. Picking their battles maybe...

Thanks to those 13 states. Arizona really appreciates the help from our fellow Americans.

Allabama’s rhino Attorney general was replaced in the primary and we may have a Republican who will get involved in January.

Looks like the states are banding in groups to attack the feds on different fronts. Keeping them tied up in court cases diverts their attention from other states who pass other laws.

If I were an AZ legislator, I’d line up a few states that have similar laws on other federal issues - guns, abortion, etc. - and pass legislation. Then, when the feds come after you, bang!, you’ve got them in a trap.

They’ll have to back off or get bogged down in a losing battle. In fact, AZ could sue DOJ for harassment.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think this is the SB1070 law that’s gotten so much play. This law deals with employment of illegal immigrants and was passed a few years ago... SB1070 was the stop and detain illegals law.
