Obama’s India visit slammed for ‘over-the-top’ spending
Press Trust of India, Updated: November 04, 2010 12:57 IST
Washington: The costs of US President Barack Obama’s upcoming trip to India has been criticised by a Republican leader as “over-the-top” spending but the White House said the figures cited by the lawmaker have “no basis” in reality.”

Obama is America’s embarrassment.
Citizens in other countries are wondering how the Americans could have been so stupid to elect such a bozo.
It seems that every 30 years or so Americans lose their collective mind and elect a bozo. Jimmy Carter being Obama’s predecessor.
Maybe no one suggested a Teleconference as a cheaper alternative...
The MSM has been pretty quiet about this upcoming excursion.
540 rooms at the TajMahal, 40 passenger planes, 3000 people, at an expense of 200 million a day!!! This is an outrage!! mI haven’t heard any Pubbies speaking out against this sham to the American people. Maybe our thug leader is about to start a government in exile and stay there. Most Americans would say good riddance.
This is such an unnecessary, arrogant, frivolous, in-your-face, over the top junket ... and in the worst of economic times .. WHY ???
Has a President ever taken this size of a cabinet before either? Where’s Biden?
Or, on the other hand, while the cat's away, the mice will play. : )
