Oklahoma’s (demorat) AG declined to join the suit against Obamacare. Republican AG was elected last night with the commitment, among other things, to oppose every federal act that violates the Tenth Amendment and is contrary to federalism. I have an appointment with him next week to discuss entitlements and unfunded mandates. I am sure we will have a very broad, robust discussion. I believe that he has committed to allocate one of the assistant AGs to the federalism issues.

The important thing to remember is that the mandate is vital to the health care plan. Without it, you can pay NOTHING, wait till you get sick, and buy insurance which cannot deny anyone. This is similar to the buying across state lines argument. NY health insurance laws would be worthless if you could buy across state lines. There would be only ludicrous insurance policies available by NY insurance companies left, rendering the whole thing pointless.

The pubs need to fight a lot harder there to overcome Soros’s “Colorado project.”
Do states even have a say in these kind of things at all anymore ? The Federal govt can just force the states to accept the healthcare reform and bring it to the courts and interpret the Ammendments to the Constitution as allowing Federal govt to tell states what to do.
State law does trump federal law when the federal law is unconstitutional and that is one of the point’s of this legislation.
It would also appear to me that some aspects of the Stimulus bill are unconstitutional. According to Dr. David Janda, the federal government will impose penalties on physicians that fail to follow government treatment protocols. This means that the federal government would be usurping the state’s role in discipling physicians through state medical boards and the licensing process. Remember, the Stimulus bill also has dangerous provisions such as the rationing board-”comparative effectiveness research” council which will set up treatment protocols.
We should consider state legislation that protects citizens from this legislation. We should also contact out state AGs to see if we can get a case going against these horrible provisions as we did with 0bamacare.

I’m here in Wisconsin. Scott Walker, governor elect said, on his first day in office, he’s calling an emergency legislative session to roll back taxes. He’s second priority, on that same day, is walking a letter over to our Attorney General authorizing him to join the health care lawsuit. Sweet! Wisconsin is RED!
We’ve been fighting back Dane (Madison) and Milwaukee counties for years, we finally beat them back. It’s a fabulous day in Wisconsin, all our candidates are conservative, and the WON! Except for one CD seat and the secretary of state. We have control of everything with not only Republicans, but CONSERVATIVES! Keep your eyes on Wisconsin. We’ve been aching for this for years.
As a side note, the libs in Madison are mourning today. LOL!
It’s time to ramp up the conservative message even more across the nation. If Red states like WI. and others can succeed and contrast with liberal hellholes maybe more Americans can be converted from liberalism.
We ‘had’ the best medical care system in the world.
The real things that needed ‘fixing’ were Federal interference and Federal theft of the funds to pay other bills.
Health care is just like any other business. The less the government interferes, the better the service will be.

As soon as our NEW conservative governor is sworn in, on that day, he’s walking a repeal letter over to our AG, Wisconsin will be in the fight.
And, our Florida Supreme Court had our nulification amendment removed from the ballot! Yet, the uninformed, ignorant voters, yesterday, approved returning them to the Bench.

Wow, the voters of Colorado voted not to give themselves a right they already possessed. I'm stunned.
“Voters in Arizona and Oklahoma amended their state constitutions Tuesday with “healthcare freedom” measures designed to block the new federal mandate on individuals and some employers to buy health insurance.”
That is a good beginning, let us hope that the voters in Colorado will come to their senses.
