Saying "the outcome is clear," GOP Senate candidate Carly Fiorina conceded defeat this morning to Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer.
Addressing reporters, Fiorina said she had called Boxer to express her congratulations. And she said it was time for Democrats and Republicans to set aside partisanship.
"I hope all will come together," she said, adding that members of Congress should "redouble their efforts to make sure that all people have a chance to live the American Dream.

i’m glad the wench lost. can’t stand her.
Thought I would imitate the Rino’s on the Delaware and Nevada threads. Here we did it exactly their way. Of course, there is always that great win by Mark Kirk to celebrate. Hooray.

Are you on the right forum?
Drat these double posts.
Good. Better a known enemy in office than a false friend.
Enough of this ineffable twaddle!
So your are a babs lover then. Please double check your internet settings. This is Free Republic, not Democratic Underground.
Based on the thread response so far, Boxer didn’t have to work very hard to keep her seat for another SIX YEARS!!!!!
Let’s hope the next campaign to unseat Boxer will be brief.
Sherlock Holmes fan??
DeVore was the better candidate.
“Arrogant Marxist twat.”
LOL. At least you made me laugh.
It’s especially painful because a Senate seat is a full six years. That’s too long to make a screw-up by reelecting (YET AGAIN) an extremist like Babs.
California doesn’t have another six years. I’ll be surprised if they have 2-4.
So much for any chance to turn it around. I really, really thought that either Meg or Carly would win. I knew probably not both, but one win would have been nice.
Sad. Very sad.
California has become a Red state and is lost, probably permanently.
Boxer pushes more gun control and I’m blaming you.
You make a good point.
I guess at the end of the day it’s not always about ideology in either direction.
“Politics” encompasses a lot more than that: funds, media, electorate, etc.
A RINO would have been far better than a Boxer in the box.
It would have knocked Boxer off of her mound, and sent a message to all liberals. We’re not surprised, considering the fact that it’s Kalifornia.
Nope. just a rino hater. i'm an african american, christian, conservative, stuck in washington, dc. please, don't insult me. then again, i don't need to explain myself to you.
