Please explain the following: BROWN, BOXER, REID, FRANK
Nov. 3, 2010 | Cinnamon Girl

Somehow, some of us believed that at least Fiorina could pull it off, because, as a resident of this crazy state, it didn't appear that there was a lot of love for Boxer. And I even thought Meg Whitman could surprise the pundits and possibly squeak out a win. After all, Jerry Brown, a career polititian, is like a joke who has done just about nothing right. So how did Boxer and Brown do it? Yes, I've seen what I think is voter fraud before, but I don't think it's enough to add up to a big win. Yes, there are a lot of angry, geriatric liberals who are terrified of anyone with an 'R' next to their name, but again, not enough. I kind of think, in California, that there are so many who depend on the state for their incomes, whether it's union employees or welfare spongers, that they overwhelm the rest of us.

And that's the way it is now in CA: unions against the rest of us. And I hope the rest of us seriously consider moving to Texas because Jerry Brown's only plan of action will be to take more money away from those who earn it in the private sector.

Is that what happened in Nevada with Harry Reid? Maybe people living in the state could address that. From here it appeared that Reid was a big loser, no one was coming to his rallies and he was toast. What happened? How did he do it? I don't know.

Barney Frank? Did the morons in Massachusetts not believe that he was deeply involved with the Freddie Mac Fannie Mae fiasco? How much does this guy have to do wrong before he's thrown out? How did he become a Kennedy? I don't know. Maybe someone has an answer.

Long term we’re better off. Lose some now, get stronger later.

Plus, a GOP Senate probably would have HELPED Obama in 2012.

As for Reid, as I work in NV now I get to talk to voters here. The one thing that goes unnoticed is the fact that he is the majority leader from a small state. So there's a cool factor that NV can be influential beyond its size with Reid in power. They don't tie the disasterous economy here to him, but they should.
Something similar was posted by an AZ freeper back during the Republican primary in AZ, explaining why so many AZ voters were going for McCain.

A lot of idiot voters just vote for the "clout" and "fame" of the known (and famous) quantity and don't think about what their particular Evil Moron actually stands for.

And don’t forget, Nevada has taken in a lot of people from California trying to escape from all the decades of foolishness that California has been engaged in. Arizona too, and even as far north and east as states like Oregon, Washington, Colorado and Montana. I doubt there was fraud in either CA or NV. Whitman was weak and Angle was weak. The unions are able to effectively organize the GOTV efforts.

Meg & Carly: two two-faced self-serving focus-group run phonies with ties to the corrupt Juan McCain.

They would have been a better service to the state of California to fund efforts to fight the union goons, like with Prop 75 years ago.

I hope to never hear from these two pukes again.

It needs to be understood that CA is not only home to many fruits and nuts but is also inundated by the foreign-born. I’m not talking about the illegals, I’m talking about the 25% of the population who came here through normal immigration.

They don’t savvy English too well, have no cultural history of citizenship and voting. They vote for whoever offers them the most stuff - democrats.

As long as the demographic persists - foreign-born waifs, the dregs of US society transplanted into our state and our own local idiots - CA will continue to slid into the abyss.

It’s time to go...

I have relations in the north east and, excuse me for saying but my experience is that these people are largely some of the most rude, ignorant, clueless, arrogant, conceited ass h*les on the face of the planet, so I get the Barney Fwank deal.

But I am simply dumbfounded that the people of Nevada re-elected Reid.

I only hope this was due to fraud, the people I know out West are typically thought out and down to earth.

Frank: Because he’s gay and because he ran sob story ads about his life and because people don’t want to embrace
“change” if that means voting in a Republican, even a
former Marine who is half Barney’s age. Now Barney has
less power though as GOP controls House. MOST people
here are stupid or they’re tied into the govt. in some
way and big government is fine by them.

Only things on my ballot that “won” were the Republican
county sheriff, and a question to repeal the double
taxation on booze. Every other spot the Dems or
a Dem-loved ballot question won.

Most fecal matter will come loose with one application of toilet bowl cleaner. Stubborn deposits may need additional treatments before they are entirely gone.

Well at least moonbeam will accelerate the destruction. Look for him to repeal Prop 13 and watch property taxes go through the roof.Maybe after the apocalypse we can rebuild again.

Sorry I live here and don't buy that at all. Vegas/Reno is what killed us as usual.

Example. We are a mining community here in Elko county. The mines and Local newspaper even backed Harry for his support of mining. You would have thought that the mining community would have backed Harry.

No, we voted 65% Angle, 24% Reid. We put the country before Nevada but still were outvoted in the two major population centers that are full of unions and liberals.

Sadly some areas(and states/CA-NV-MA-DE-CT) are just too screwed up in the head to save. We need to just shove them out to sea to die.

I don’t buy the “they’re too moderate” line. Sorry. This state is way way way too liberal to long for a hard core conservative.

I agree... I am usually in agreement with Rush on everything. But he's dead wrong on Whitman and Fiorina, especially Carly.

While I would never consider them tea Party types, they are as conservative as you're going to get in California.

Same with Scott Brown in Mass. Anyone who wants to primary him to get someone more conservative, needs to stop the meds.

You need to nominate the most conservative person who can get elected.

The only way to stop this in the future - stop SEIU and ACORN, deport the illegals, abolish the NEA.

We in Florida have the same problem.

The Liberal A-H*les from the north-east vote to ruin their own communities and eventually move down here, usually to W. Palm Beach county or Miami.

The first thing they do is start voting for socialist and communists all over again.

We are fighting against this now.

Brown/Boxer = CA (no need to say more)

Reid = Vegas mob and union (one and the same)

Frank = pure and complete mystery to me, that one.

I wouldn’t say that they need to be 100% down-the-line uberconservative, but the problem with Whitman and Fiorina is that they just didn’t stand for anything. Whitman in particular. She spent $160M and didn’t take a strong stand on a single issue. Except maybe being pro-abortion. It begs the question: why is she running for this job?

You also have the problem that a wishy-washy Republican is governor and an AWFUL one. More of the same isn’t going to help anything. Besides, with the ballot measures, California is ungovernable anyway. My advice is to move before neighboring states build walls to keep you in.

As for the others, it looks like there were a lot of shenanigans with the Reid/Angle race. Frank won because of Gerrymandering. That district is designed to be unwinnable for a Republican and it did its job last night.
