Obama looks to set tone with post-election press conference

President Obama will hold a press conference Wednesday to offer his response to the mid-term election. The news conference, announced Tuesday morning, shows the White House does not intend for the dust to settle from Tuesday's midterms before trying to define the narrative for the next Congress. Polls show Democrats face an avalanche of losses, with Republicans poised to take back the House and make significant gains in the Senate. Obama will speak to the press early Wednesday afternoon. Before taking questions, Obama is likely to offer an opening statement calling for Republicans

He called Sarah Palin the mayor of a small town when she was the Governor of Alaska at the time.

I’m sure he will say this is an embrace by the GOP of his agenda.

We should make drug testing mandatory in DC. Seriously.

Obama will never get to bed tonight. He’ll watch Alaska numbers come in, then Hawaii’s, then sit there waiting for the other 7 states’ returns to show up.
