Mumbai: The US would be spending a whopping $200 million (Rs. 900 crore approx) per day on President Barack Obama's visit to the city.
"The huge amount of around $200 million would be spent on security, stay and other aspects of the Presidential visit," a top official of the Maharashtra Government privy to the arrangements for the high-profile visit said.
About 3,000 people including Secret Service agents, US government officials and journalists would accompany the President. Several officials from the White House and US security agencies are already here for the past one week with helicopters, a ship and high-end security instruments.

WHERE THE HELL IS THE APPROPRIATION FOR THAT??? SERIOUSLY, WHERE IS THIS BURIED IN THE BUDGET? HOW IS IT COVERED UNDER THE CONTINUING RESOLUTION? YOU ARE DAMNED RIGHT I AM SHOUTING.
How does this register on your level of anger for such outrageous arrogance?
Is there a change something was lost in translation?
This just seems to impossible to be true. 3000 people?

The entire hotel. Seriously!”
Yeah, I heard 570 rooms. Even members of his delegation will not be allowed on his floor or the floors immediately above and below. Those will be occupied by 700 federal agents. This is more like a war effort than a presidential trip.
I shall begin with this educational reminder :
The First Traitor's Rise to Power
Read it and weep.
This addresses the morons on talk shows supporting the First Maggot claiming that the U.S. economy went south in 2007, during Bush's Presidency.
Morons, by definition, are incapable of grasping the concept of cause and effect.
The handwriting was on the wall in 2007. Business and Citizens with a brain saw, in 2007, that there was a chance, however improbable, that a radical socialist progressive could ---even remotely --- be elected president due to factors which have been discussed at length since then.
The economy responded rationally until the results were in.
The results were the biggest disaster for the US outside of Pearl Harbor, WW2 and 911.
99% would be a good number
Computer is going off...
too much lightening
Vote baby vote!
Many?! All the hotel’s rooms!
Don’t forget the helicopters that will be disassembled and then reassembled in India.
Don’t forget food testers. Friends and family. Etc and so forth.
He is the King of the World, don’t you know that.
3000 people divided by 40 aircraft averages 75 per plane.
Would it be too much to learn the names of these 3000 people? Except perhaps the names of the secret service agents and the journalists.
Freedom of Information Act material?
I really, really would like to know those names.
For later.
Even the Kenyan usurper won't be able to spend $200 million all told on his trip --- well, unless you count the bribes formulated as "foreign aid" to the Indian government for allowing the very unpopular Kenyan Clown to visit in the aftermath of the Democrats receiving a record shellacking at the polls.
I dare him to come back after pulling a stunt like this!!!!
Bush’s fault!
Yes, the $200mm/day is absoultely gross, but that amount of revenue may get you in the Fortune 5,000 but not within sniffing disatance of the 500. Look on the bright side, 3,000 people/200 rooms is 15 per room. The Zero is trying to save us poor tax payers a few bucks.
******Is there anyone....ANYONE in this government of ours who is the least bit concerned about this? $200 million per day... This represents the annual gross revenues of many fortune 500 companies.******
I repeat from yesterday....
...... your seeing what Washington and the Beltway are really all about now, right smack out in the open. ....You can “reach right into Thomas side” now, and believe flat out.
Total bailout for the all the exact same players was what the bailout and VampireCare was, and is, all about. There exists no U.S. and Constitution to these people. None.
Everything about this Asia trip sure pegs the weirdsh!t-o-meter.
I worked on the WH Advance Team under Bush. The cost and number of people don’t add up. Bill Clinton’s China world tour only cost the taxpayer around $50MM and it had half of DC on the trip and 77 aircraft supporting the trip. On this trip, they also only booked about 700 rooms in India. Even at 700, that’s an astounding number in and of itself. I never saw any overseas trips with Bush have anywhere near 700 people.

I prefer permanently.
Further, I would recommend Kenya, instead. It's cheaper. More dangerous. But more likely to award him and the First Sasquatch the life they deserve.
