Well, sadly, 53% of DE is in according to ticker on Fox and O’Donnell is getting killed. 61% Coons.
Thank you Karl ROVE!!!!!!!
Fixed.
Yeah, COD will probably end up losing by 10%.
Once again, let me remind that there’s another big race here in Delaware, a race for Delaware’s only seat in America’s House. It is, in fact, to replace Mike Castle, who held the seat for this past eight years.
Since Delaware only has ONE seat in the House, compared to two senators like every state has, THIS elected seat is probably the most important elected position in Delaware.
Urquhart too lost to his opponent by what will probably be 10%. Urquhart is a great guy who didn’t get the press COD got. BUT he ran a wonderful campaign and was a wonderful candidate.
So to all who carried like nasty vampires over COD being such a bad candidate, I’d argue such a position was based more on losing their guy Castle than any bad job COD did.
Castle voted FOR Cap and Trade in the House. This is a fact. To those of you calling Delaware voters boobs and fools, well know that we did keep what was probably a guaranteed vote for Cap and Trade out of the senate unless you want to buy my bridge I got cheap and believe Castle would have voted AGAINST Cap and Trade in the senate when he voted for it in the House.
Just remember that. The Blue blood GOP of Delaware wanted us to KEEP Castle on as Senator, knowing the guy had already voted FOR Cap and Trade in the House. Republican voters in Delaware said NO. And for it poor COD, a perfectly nice young lady, and us staunch voters, suffered their disdain.
Coons, well he’s bad, really bad. And I’m thinking he’ll probably vote FOR Cap and Trade in the senate but eh, so would Castle have done so. At least this time it’ll be a Dem voting for Cap and Trade and not a Republican.
NO WAIT! With the pubs taking over the House and gaining a bunch of seats in the senate, well hey, maybe there WON’T be a vote for Cap and Trade anywhere.
I accept that Delaware’s a blue state just by virtue of 80% of its citizens living up north around Wilmington, a suburb of Philadelphia. I don’t think the solution is to get Republicans in there voting with the Democrats just so the elected Blue Blood Ruling Class can get nice chairmanships and the best offices. While I, the taxpayer, STILL get Cap and Trade for the RINO they insisted we elect.
It’s why us poor beleaguered citizens of Sussex county Delaware elected Christine O’Donnell and I don’t regret it a whit.
She lost by the same percentage as Urquhart. It wasn’t her campaign, her bad candidacy. It was the demographics of Delaware but we GOT RID OF CASTLE.
