Based on VA-9 and VA-11, I'm seeing the same thing.
I am in complete agreement with you. A filibuster proof Senate would be a necessity to move things along, so a Dem Senate is not the end of the world (shiver). Now President Twinkie has to do more than talk. He has to hustle things through the House. Good luck with that Mr. $200 Million/Day President.

Like I alluded to earlier, in OH you have to know where the votes are coming from. If they count NE OH early (Cleveland), then Akron, it will be heavily D. Then as you move south, it gets steadily redder. In 2004, Kerry had a big lead over Bush in the north. . . but not enough as the returns started to come in from the south.

NOTE AGAIN....Urquhart and O’Donnell with about the same percentage.
Now that percentage will probably go down as Sussex county is probably solidUrquahart/O’Donnell.
It will probably end up with these two candidates defeated by around 10% diff.
I know COD knew that turnout in Sussex county was critical. She needed 70% of the registered voters in Sussex to vote for her. As it was she pulled in about 58%. That’s a tall order but the demographics made it not so.
I’m glad we’re rid of Castle. Sure, Coons will vote for Cap and Trade. BUT CASTLE ALREADY VOTED FOR CAP AND TRADE IN THE HOUSE!
