Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley ordered state highway workers to remove political campaign signs for Republican candidates during the weekend, according to GOP candidates and homeowners.

The leader of the state with the slogan of "Seize the Day Off" apparently told state employees to work on their days off, at overtime rates, according to candidates and residents along major thoroughfares in the Democratic stronghold of Montgomery County, in the Washington suburbs. Those residents told Newsmax they were surprised on Saturday when highway workers removed signs from their front yards and tossed them into a state dump truck.

“This is an absolute outrage,” said Rob Vricella, a Republican candidate for county council who confronted the workers. “I jumped up into the truck and retrieved my own signs and saw a pile of what looked like all Republican signs.”

When Vricella challenged the workers, they identified themselves as state employees who were getting overtime to remove the signs on the Democratic governor’s orders, he said.

DemonRATs fall into several categories, some of which may overlap.

. Low-life goons and thugs
. Gimme-gotchas who live off the government teat
. Naive youth who want to make everything fair
. Meddling busybodies who know what’s best for you

My guess is the MD governor is a low-life goon.

If they truly were only removing republican signs, that’s wrong.

If they were removing ALL signs from public right-of-way, that’s fine — it is illegal to post signs on the public right-of-way.

They shouldn’t take signs out of people’s yards, although often times the space between the sidewalk and the street is actually public right-of-way even though Maryland requires that the homeowner cut that grass and clean snow off the sidewalk.

Generally, states go easy on the signs for the last weekend, but last year in Virginia the state came through the weekend before the election and cleared all the signs off the major highways — but they got all the signs for both parties.

Sadly, I don’t believe that this will be a problem only in Maryland. I’m very concerned about how much cheating, threats, violence, deceiving voters, discounted votes (including, but not limited to, overseas), all other possible kinds of voter/voting screw ups...will happen throughout the entire voting duration in the U.S. and U.S. territories, on November 2. Also, the aftermath of the November 2 election could see leftists do all that they can do to “make things more pro-leftist”, such as: voting majorities for all of this “leftist garbage” during the lame duck session of Congress, having leftist activist judges overturn the outcomes of some of the election results involving candidates and/or ballot questions, and all other possible actions that will help leftists in any way, shape, or form. Lots of prayer for this day is so needed!

A friend of mine in Northern MD had a lib PUT a sign on his lawn. He pulled it down as soon as he saw it.

Just Democrats doing what they do best...stealing elections.

As for my Blaine Young (R-Frederick County) yard sign, it is still in its proper place, but I do live on a side street.

Maryland “Freak State” PING!
