Qualls says there was a miscommunication over the ad - but does confirm the matter has been resolved and the ad is airing. He does note the times in the campaign statement are off, stating the ad ran at 3 p.m. ET Monday and is now scheduled to run again at 11:30 pm Monday and on Tuesday at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 3 p.m., and 6 p.m. ET.
Read the O'Donnell campaign's statement:
"The half-hour long special from the O'Donnell campaign was not aired as scheduled on Sunday night and Monday morning. Delaware 28 Executive Producer Tim Qualls explained to the campaign that he was out of the area for the weekend because of a family illness, and was apparently unaware of the campaign's transaction last Friday between a local third-party buyer and Channel 28 employees.
"Mr. Qualls is being incredibly cooperative now that he finally understands the situation, and we cannot thank him enough for helping us get Christine's message out to the voters of Delaware. We are sincerely sorry for any misunderstanding that has transpired and that may have added stress to his family situation.

NFL! (Not eFFing Likely)
More like....”OMG, our license is gonna get pulled! Do something quick.....”
Does he understand an ad Tuesday @ 6:00pm is next to worthless? And sorry about the family illness.
At first I thought this might have been a mistep in the campaign. But now look at all the publicity she has gotten over this and how much curiosity it has generated.
Lord please!
“Mr. Qualls is being incredibly cooperative now that he finally understands the situation”
Snort, snort, snicker, snicker. With all the notoriety this situation has created there will probably be more people watching the add then there would have been otherwise.
Go Christine.
Sounds like someone is being very gracious in this situation.
I was worried when so many freepers screamed “Sue the ........!
Tomorrow is just too late!
Pray that great favor will fall on Christine O’Donnell as they go to the ballot box.
Never mind whether the ad plays or not -— let’s get O’Donnell elected tomorrow !!!!!!

Will do!. The Delaware citizens have the best chance of all of us to fire the second shot heard round the world. We must rid ourselves of these Tyrants.
I don’t know about that.
Someone sitting at home, still undecided at 6pm, not sure if he’s going to vote, watches Christine for a half hour, then goes and gets in line to vote for Christine.
Apparently, the air time for these 5 commericals cost a total of $2500. $2500 isn’t really all that much. It’s like an hour of contributions.
Oh great they are showing it tomorrow night that should be effective!!
Maybe they will air it again next week to make up for the unfortunate mistake..
Christine is on with Greta tonight at 10p.
Kirk is against partial birth abortion, and believes abortion is a states issue.
Kirk believes the definition of marriage is between a man and a woman. He is against gay marriage.
This particular ad buy couldn’t have been all that important. It cost $2500. That’s it. $2500 is less than a tenth of a percent of what Christine got in the week following the primary. It just can’t be all that critical.
Tuesday at 6:00pm..I am sure that will help. None of these times are any good.
She may pull this off yet!
I watched the ad.
While the message was very good, it was depressing nearly one-half hours worth.
I had to force myself to watch it all of the way through.
