Remember the Alamo ping to Today show list.
Naw, they’re more like the crew of the Titanic.
So YOU’RE the one who watches MsNBC.
poor little marxist stooge
He just called us savages.
Hey, just got that in the mail from Netflix (the John Wayne version).
Coincidence? I think not!
Colonel, USAFR
It’s more like their Waterloo. Their Kursk. Their Battle of Midway. Their Dien Ben Phu.
The funniest part is that Matthews thinks any of his dozens of viewers actually know something about the Alamo.
Actually I think they would have been fighting for Mexico!
1) None of them believe in anything worth dying for.
2) As long as they’re out of the way, I don’t care if they’ve overestimated their role in history.
Leftist idiots such as Chris Matthews are on the wrong side of history because they’re on the wrong side of the American people. We don’t want European nanny-state socialism and we won’t tolerate elitist, leftist politicians that consider us bumpkins, sneer at us and then expect to be re-elected. I can’t wait to see little Chrissy Matthews cry on-air Tuesday night.
Beyond the bad analogy, Chris needs a lesson in Texas history.
Bowie was not in charge at the Alamo. I know just the Texas history (San Antonio area) homeschool teacher who might be able to give the hapless Matthews a decent education (but since she is a Conservative, it might cost him more than a “Harvard” education).
As usual, Matthews has it wrong.
The real Alamo crowd are in fact the congressional conservatives fighting a delaying action since 2008.
The “Battle of San Jacinto” will be tomorrow. And the victory will be every bit as complete.
Texans know what I mean.
Nope ... big difference there. The men at the Alamo were men.
Hey Chrissy - why don’t you, Ed Shultz and Rachael Maddow combine forces? Can you imagine the media powerhouse that would be? Literally dozens of viewers, watching a single show! The poor folks at Nielsen would have a coronary...
Frick’ you Chris.
Try not to wet your little panties too much when the GOP hands you your ass tomorrow.
I think he’s planning a cruse ship from Kansas to Texas.
His fondest wish is to travel in a time machine back to the 1920s and visit President Lincoln.
;-)
The guy needs to go back to grade school
.
How a propos. We just finished watching liberal historians “explain” why defending The Alamo to the death was a foolish thing to do. Mr. Matthews, being the liberal that he is, may want to consider the implications of his statement given the liberal view of the battle at The Alamo.
Whenever the A-clown use retarded references like this to describe politics, it denegrates and degrades real hroes. real men who gave it their all.
Panty-waste politicians have no business even being mentioned in the same sentence as our real American heroes.
