If the dems are made to feel even HALF as sad as I felt after the 08 election, it will be a WONDERFUL DAY!

Nov. 2008. Those were some of the darkest days.

“In a wave election, part of the problem is that you feel powerless. Everything I feel I know how to do, that I’m trained to do, I can’t do. And that feeling is pervasive,” said the pollster. “There’s a sense that there’s nothing you can do about it. When you know your friends are on the chopping block, it’s hard.”
Still believe the polls?
And here we believed polls were supposes to reflect the public mood, not help Democrats win elections...

I'm a “it ain't over till it's over” kind of guy.

I refuse to get caught up in the idea that we have it all wrapped up, although I have hope that things will go our way.

As I've stated on earlier posts, my faith in the electorate was severely damaged in 2008. I am praying for redemption.

If we pull this off, I'm going to celebrate with a box of Mallomars. Not just one or two, the entire box of 18. The stomach ache will be worth it.

Every time a talking head uses the words “repudiate” or “bloodbath”, I'll take another bite of the best cookie ever made. If they give Governor Palin credit for any of the victories, I eat the cookie whole. It's not an exciting life, but it's my life. LOL

“It sucks,” said Dave Beattie, a Florida-based Democratic pollster who is working on a slate of competitive House races and who acknowledges that the lower congressional chamber is lost. “I’m resigned to the fact that it sucks.”

It sucks because your party sucks, Dave.

Govern against the will of the people, suffer the consequences.

Not hard to understand, really. They should have cemented their dictatorship first or at least declared martial law. Really arrogant to treat America like a bunch of soviet peasants and then give them a free shot to answer back. They believed their adoring media, not the mob with the pitchforks.

But, but, but...David Axelrod said that the Dems would retain control of both the House and the Senate. He wouldn't lie, would he???

You left out the best part:

“Everybody that is tied will lose, and everyone that is ahead by a few points will lose because of the GOP wave,” said one party media consultant who is involved in a wide array of House races. “There are going to be some surprises.”

there’s nothing left to do but sit and wait for the expected horrors of Election Day to unfold.———

They should have thought of that when the calls were 900 to 1 not to do what they did. The horrors they put on the American citizenry is way smaller than the horrors they will see this election cycle, and the next several election cycles. WE HAVE ONLY BEGUN TO FIGHT
