The Albuquerque Journals final polls of the 2010 election cycle show races shifting even further toward Republicans in the final days.
Republican Susana Martinez led by 10 in the Journal poll of the governors race. Democrat Gary King led by 10 in the attorney generals race, but that means his lead has been cut in half in the last month.
And in the 1st and 2nd congressional district races, Republicans Jon Barela and Steve Pearce each led by 3 points in the Journal polls.

NM list PING!
Big Mo is on the loose country wide!
I think that we’re looking at 60-65 seats in the House right now.
I suspect that we’ll be getting a few more CD polls in the next 24 hours that could push the number into the 70s. Seats that are not even thought of as vulnerable are close.
I’ve been checking the internals of these polls, when available. In NM, as in other states, we are doing fine with minorities, something like 40 percent; with younger voters and with female voters. We’re also running ahead with those who have already voted. These things point to a big, sweeping victory. The other party is going to have to do some re-calculating when it can’t get voters based on identify politics and has to deal with everybody based on the facts of the economy, whether our schools are actually working, and other such realities.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
THX THX.
. . . though given all the givens . . . one wonders how much the puppet masters are manipulating even toward this outcome . . . & to what ends.
Good news. Too bad we lost that Senate seat in 2008.
WOW!! Just now online. The results are even better than I’ve been dreaming about!
Looking at the poll results Barela and Pearce are both up by three. Pearce should be ahead by more than that and the poll shows his support is soft with a lead over Democratic incumbent Harry Teague 48 percent to 45 percent, with 7 percent undecided. The survey of 402 likely voters had a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points. Lets hope that the margin of error is in support of Pearce. BTW the Journal no longer is sold in most of District 2 except for Roswell so they may not have polled as extensively as might be expected.
This is excellent news, especially for Jon Barela, who leads for the first time.
