Barack Obama became president by brilliantly telling his own story. To stay president, he will need to show he can understand our story.
At first it was exciting that Obama was the sort of brainy, cultivated Democrat who would be at home in a West Wing episode.
But now he acts like he really thinks hes on West Wing, gliding through an imaginary, amber-lit set where his righteous self-regard is bound to be rewarded by the end of the hour.
Hey, dude, youre a politician. Act like one.

Yeah, MoDo, that's the problem - we're not smart enough to understand. Like Nancy, who said, "We have to pass it so we can see what's in it."
Obama holds the original manuscript of his book, which he intended to title, “The Audacity of Dope.” Someone at the publisher’s office made the unfortunate switch.
Somehow, it just doesn’t seem right to call the President “Dude.” Even if it’s Obama.
Well, considering that the first two pics were of Obamao, and then him and Aunt Esther, that foundation needs a little reinforcement.

Aunt Esther! Now THAT’S funny!
MoDo, Peggy Noonan and a group of there idiot hag friends had a creepy hag BO fan site where they got together to act like intellectual women, I don’t remember what it is called but I bet that these hag-ettes are about to implode!
The Demoncrats were never about substance, only about mantras, chants and slogans someone else created for them. Big surprise...and what’s the say about the ditz who wrote this?
Once again the libs insult the voters. Just like J.F. Kerry. I hope they stick with this message.
The Democrat establishment is publicly turning against ‘The One’.
What amazes me about this TV show Obama was on a couple of days ago is that everyone takes it seriously, that is as if this comedian "interviewer" were Eric Sevareid or someone.
The whole thing was obviously a rehearsed script gone bad. No one is going to address a President as "Dude" (at least before now) without being asked to do so. No one is going to make a big deal about the phrase "heck of a job" and link it to George Bush and Katrina, or at least not many are. The "audience" laughed, if you weren't paying attention. Well, I pay a lot closer attention than most people and I would have made absolutely no connection between the phrase and Bush's praise of some underling administrator five years ago.
Obama tries to humanize himself with these sorts of skits. Once a fraud, always a fraud.

Therein lies the problem. The President is a politician and not a president.
The liberal set beleive everyone votes for a sexual agenda; forget the economy and freedom! All that matters is do you celebrate anal sex or do you not! This social agenda goes both ways. People don’t want to be bothered with other people’s sexual behaviors.
We often hear from libertarians and rinos that Republicans can not run purely on a conservative social agenda because the stakes are too high. The same goes for the Liberals.
As a Real American President once said, “the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isnt so.”
I can only hope that Obambi follows MoDo’s wacky advice: it will finish him off before 2011 is over. The primary challengers will be coming out of the floorboards and Barry will be hinting that he is likely to leave politics so he can “spend more time with his family.”
Show us the SAT, LSAT & transcripts, otherwise he's just an affirmative action POTUS.
The only thing you'll ever learn from a Mo Dowd column is what goes on in her faghag old cat lady mind.
Oh, and only doctors can understand the health care plan they passed? It would help if Obama or a single person who voted for it actually read that health care plan. And if one of them did, it would help if that person was a team a twenty lawyers, not a doctor.
She apparently really believes that Obama should spin a little more flowery nonsense into his bloated oratory and we'll all suddenly realize why we actually love what he's done.
Dingbat.
I'm not sure, but I suspect it is one who rises from the compost heap each election to vote Democrat and then resumes the nitrogen cycle again shortly thereafter.
