Turkey is one of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter development partners.
Turkey should've been removed from NATO a long time ago.
I know, its distressing. We can pretty much assume that Iran and China have all the technology that Turkey has access to.
Better yet, remove the United States from NATO and let Europe figure out how it’s going to protect itself.
Not sure that NATO allows removal of a member state. In any case, with this move, Republic of Turkey acknowledges that United States of America lacks the political will to come to their aid effectively and instead decides to cast its lot with our mortal enemies. May God save America.

Historically Turks are pragmatic, opportunists in fact.
They have never been any other nations ally, and never will be.
“Not there is anything wrong with that”.
Turkey has been moving away from secularism and back toward Orthodox Islam for quite a while now. This is just another sign of that continuing process.
