I truly hate to say so, but I put nothing past ears.
The attitude from most people seems to be fairly ho-hum....lots of people on CNN’s site are even skeptical if this is a real plot at all.

How would it benefit the dems? All those who believe this is some sort of Obama-planned decoy remind me of those who believe Bush knew about 9/11 and our own government blew up the Twin Towers. I am a cynic, but some one, Al Qaeda is real and they are very active in Yemen. To believe that someone Obama orchestrated this whole thing is quite a stretch, IMHO.
Won’t work to any advantage for Obama and the Dems since the UK discovered most of it.

I must be the same kind of almost-cynic... The timing of the "discovery" and interception of these packages is awfully suspect. How the Dems in power try to make political hay from it will tell us more...
If these really are part of a genuine bombing attempt, and not some fabrication (a-la "wag the dog") then it really only shows us one thing: Former President Bush was right, and that husseing obama is a naive idiot and fool for thinking extremists worldwide would turn over a new leaf just because of his patter.

Oh, you are a cynic. You know that in this age of mechanized convenience, it's much easier and safer to mail in your terror from afar.
But who knows ... maybe the bad guys just thought it was a clever thing to try; and at the very least they'll have succeeded in significantly disrupting the smooth workings of FedEx and UPS.
