Thanks for posting. This Tea Party revolution in Maine is going unnoticed by the national media. The Tea Party Candidate for governor up there (LaPage) has opened a 20-point lead.

Now I have an option of a place to go should things not turn out too well here in Massachusetts (fortunately, I think we'll do OK here as well).

In Maine, it could come down to fraud. Let’s not forget that, in the 2000 election, Maine was one of the states that had more votes than it had registered voters. We need sharp eyes watching the fraud machine or this area will stay Dem.

Snowe was one of three Reps who voted for the stimulus with the other two being Collins and Spector.

Ms. Snowe had to be worried that someone might remember that she's spent 13.99 of her 14 years in the Senate publicly agonizing, usually in view of a camera, about the "deficit." Or that as recently as, oh, January, she was fervently devoted to "paygo" -- which she waived in deference to $839 billion in deficit spending. She might have even worried her enthusiasm for this bill might finally, after all these years, highlight that her fiscal responsibility only surfaces when it is time to oppose a tax cut, and that she's never met spending she didn't love.

I get Collins’ weekly bubbly newsletter. All chippy about what group she spoke to, who she was seen with and what meager bits of pork she got for “her people” in Maine. Never a word about the huge mess that the country is in. On top of that she’s never struck me as very bright. If (when) Snowe goes in 2012 Collins will have lost her apron to hang on to.

Great, now if you Mainers can replace the Maine sisters with two real Republican senators, you’ll be a useful part of the Congress

Yep, that's not political leadership, that's pandering. Leaders do the right thing without consideration of the cost to themselves. Craven pander-bears boast about all the cool stuff they can "give" you.

To paraphrase Rush, Collins is a jackass.

Is there an organized poll watch happening?

Dean Scontras and Jason Levesque are pulling ahead in both of Maine's House districts, and tea party conservative Paul LePage has a huge lead in the Governor's race.

What happened to the pro-RINO freepers who kepting telling us Olympia Snowe-type RINOs were "the best we're ever gonna get" out of that state?
