War On Terror: Homeland Security needs to do more than heighten aviation security in response to the cargo bomb plot from al-Qaida in Yemen. It should elevate the national terror threat level.
Despite what the president called a "credible threat" to the U.S. — along with a dramatic spike in "terrorist chatter" and international travel among terrorist suspects with U.S. passports — the National Threat Advisory is still stuck at yellow, or elevated. It's time to raise the code to orange, or high alert.
White House security aide John Brennan says there are no plans to lift it. "There is no adjustment of the threat level," he said, "but the intelligence community is very much on their guard."
"There is no cause for Americans to change their schedule," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.
"The American people should be confident" in antiterror efforts, said President Obama. He says two packages from Yemen and bound for synagogues in Chicago were intercepted and defused.
He can thank British intelligence for dodging yet another terror bullet. Our allies across the pond tipped us off to the suspicious inbound packages from Yemen. Cargo screening had nothing to do with it, because Homeland Security still doesn't inspect such cargo.
Other recent events signal an up-tempo in terrorist activity ahead of the election and the holiday season and demand raising the terror threat level to orange. They include:

I predict it will occur in NYC and it will involve not one but two explosive devices. The devices will be large bundles of high explosives packed in a container full of ball bearings. the first one will go off in a super high density area and will result in a large number of dead and wounded. The second will go off later and will specifically target the emergency responders. I only predict this because that’s pretty much how it happened in my nightmare last night. Hillary Clinton may be involved in someway too or perhaps her presence in the dream just represented NY. It was one of those dreams that you never forget and feel obligated to mention.

9/11 Commission Air Cargo Screening Mandate, Fake Terror and an October Surprise
News of suspicious packages arriving from Yemen plundered the country into a panicked state of fear Friday morning. Some are calling it a fake terror plot (see videos below) thanks to the President’s remarks four days before the midterm election. Such an October surprise cannot be discounted entirely, but the point of this article is to chastise the Obama administration for dragging it’s feet on the 9/11 Commission air cargo screening mandate whether this particular scare today is a contrived fake terror plot or not.

The Prisoner was something I discovered on NC Public TV back in the 80s as a teen. It did have an effect on my way of thinking, mostly positive.
Over time I have gotten one or two others to watch it and even like it.
I love most of the music and have the CDs along with the DVDs of course. It is also hard to pick a favorite episode as all of them were really good.
