Obama will speak about today's terror threats. Besides speaking about Christine O'Donnell closing the gap with Chris Coons, Obama is also expected to talk about the packages from Yemen via UPS planes scare (and probably the plane getting a fighter escort to NYC now.)

Is anyone watching Livingston from Louisiana railing for earmarks? Earmarks! Earmarks! Earmarks!

Earmarks for the inventor! What a bunch of hogwash. The very reason he's not in Congress anymore.

Two possible bombs were found overseas....not in the US, right?

Sorry, I still can’t get a handle on who has reported what, when.

If Brian Williams and the leftist media aren’t believing it less than 24 after this happens, this is a big ‘thud’ for the October surprise.

I cannot wait to hear Bob Schieffer this weekend say again, “Is that all you have?”

even Brian Williams on NBC says people will have a difficult time believing this would have caused any kind of serious damage.

A lot of the people would have a hard tim getting worked up over it if it could. To a lot of the people getting blowed up doesn't sound as scary as it once did now that they have no job, no money, no savings, no retirement, no investments, and no home...

A Real President would have had the lowest possible State Department stooge read exactly the same statement in some off stage place and the news bureaus would pick it up and the same thing would have been accomplished without giving the terrorists the legitimacy of having the POTUS stand up and blabber in front of the camera AGAIN, accomplishing nothing but stroking his own ego.

Well, at least we know Juan Williams won't be getting a plane any time soon.

He’s SUCH an old fool.

Just turned on Neil in time to hear him...he provided me comic relief.

Here you go:

FedEx CEO Smith praises Obama; says president 'very pro-business' (March 19, 2010)

FedEx CEO Frederick W. Smith says President Barack Obama is "likable," "clearly brilliant" and "very pro-business."

He's a very likable gentleman," Smith said of Obama. "He's clearly brilliant and I think he's very -- I've been asked this many times the little bit I've been around him, whether I thought he is pro-business. I think he's very pro-business. ... I think he very much wants American business to prosper."

I doubt it. Fedex is really anti-union and pro-military.

A media guy just asked about this was announced a few days before an election.

Gibbs just stepped in and made sure he gave the timeline of the events (with supposed facts). It was like they wanted to make sure they had all their facts together so it didn’t smell political.

This was one is starting to smell worse and worse....

I hope it backfires before Tuesday.

There probably won’t be time to get to the bottom of this...

But we need to make one thing go viral:

1. If Obama knew about this last night, why did these planes even take off today?

2. Why the heck did they land a plane with a possible bomb in NYC? Crazy!

Just the circumstance is a backfire. I don’t think watching these folks handle something like this could do anything but lose them votes.
