Is this all a set-up from the Obama Administration to try to get votes..to show they are “Tough” on terror because this all seems kinda fishy to me..all on one day, all of this stuff going on..I usually don’t believe in this conspiracy BS but something just isn’t right here
I agree, these alerts aren't passing the smell test. Listening to Rush this morning, and he also thought the timing was suspicious.
Why let them get anywhere near NYC. Why not force them to land at one of the many “retired” Air Force bases along the northern tier and make everyone get off one at a time there. The former Pease AFB outside Portsmouth NH or the former Loring AFB outside Caribou ME would be a safer bet than letting the aircraft fly to JFK.

AQ may think a terrorist attack on the USA on the eve of elections would produce the same results.
Personally, I think it would produce the opposite result and stiffen our resolve to fight terrorism, but you can’t exepect AQ to understand what motivates Americans (if they did, they would have never attacked the USA to begin with).
Remember, these guys are very superstitious ('cause Mohammad failed in his mission so they are just a bit more formalized but very much like the pagans their ancestors were).

I was wondering if I was the only skeptical one regarding this. I couldn’t help but think that suspicious things like this happen all the time and that it is just a matter of when and if they decide to make the information public. The timing of this doesn’t quite smell right, does it?

The FBI reported that two of the suspicious packages were addressed to religious institutions in Chicago.
“All churches, synagogues and mosques in the Chicago area should be vigilant for any unsolicited or unexpected packages, especially those originating from overseas locations,” Chicago FBI spokesman Ross Rice said.
Only the most moonbatty could possibly feel safer that we have an appeaser/apologist in the Oval office when events like this happen.

Actually, even if it is real, it would not be the first time something has been hyped by the Obama Regime. IIRC, the UK was upset about an earlier threat which Obama hyped. The timing is fishy, but to be fair to the Obama Regime, they have wanted to kill us no matter whom is in the WH, and they did at least one major attack shortly before an election (USS Cole, 12 Oct 2000).
