BELTSVILLE, Md.- President Barack Obama says his mission is to accelerate the economy's recovery. He's calling attention to a proposal he says would create jobs, grow the economy and help businesses.Obama spoke Friday after the government reported that the economy grew at a faster rate from July to September. It was the last snapshot of the country's economic health before voters elect a new Congress on Tuesday.Obama wants Congress to allow businesses to deduct 100 percent of the cost of certain investments, such as new equipment, through the end of 2011. Businesses now can deduct half of such costs.

We can’t take much more of this kind of recovery, Mr. Obama. Around here, there are more vacant storefronts than there are businesses still open. We’ll all be sleeping in cars & tents and dumpster diving or panhandling if he continues on at this rate. Why do the Bush years already seem like the Good Old days?

After all his talk, for over 2 years, about “shovel ready jobs,” Obama admitted that there really never were any shovel ready projects nor any shovel ready jobs.

No. His plan is to accelerate the destruction he's trying to plague on this nation.
Having Republicans in Congress will help some, but we cannot sit down now and take a break. The tyrant obama has to know that the NEW Congress is backed solidly by the people and will have their back if he tries any shenanighans.
After next Tuesday I can resume capitalizing Congress...I hope.

I haven’t the slightest inclination to increase my business activity.
Going on ‘capital strike’ is my method of choice to combat the ‘progressives’ amongst us. Perhaps they would abandon the detrimental regulations they have planned. (Transportation of Ag Bulk is my niche.)
