WHY did he have to write a book that would be released right after the election? Once again, he will be the topic of news during the run up to Tuesday. Not good for our side.
This election is about Obama, not about Bush. No one is going to be swayed by his book one way or another...not to mention other than on Drudge it’s getting little or no attention from the media.
Ah, but think of the message he sends. He doesn't criticize and calmly explains why he took the positions he took - stark contrast to our current President. A class act that I think even dems are beginning to respect. Methinks this may be a positive!

The book was going to be released before the election. He asked that it be delayed so that it wouldn’t take away news time from the candidates. If Drudge just has to start talking about it beforehand when there’s plenty of time after next Tuesday, it isn’t Bush’s fault.
Seeing as the book won't be released until after the election, it'll only take up just so much talk time and probably not a lot at that. Reading what Drudge has written serves to juxtapose Bush against the current man in office. You can't help but to make the comparison. Some people may not like George W but he is and was a man of class, integrity and honesty. Because of that, this book will not hurt our side.
Oh, I disagree! Folks are now beginning to understand how much BETTER things were when GWB was President, and how poorly Obama fares, in comparison. It might motivate some to choose Repubs. in the midterm elections!
