George Soros is Just as Irritating as Bono
Telegraph (U.K.) ^ | October 27, 2010 | Alex Singleton

Every time I see George Soros holding forth on television, I reach for the sick bag. I do actually agree with some of his liberal causes. And I have no problem with his chosen career – currency speculation – even if he did make $1 billion out of the misery of the British taxpayer. What rattles me is just how arrogant he’s become.

He behaves like Bono and other mega-rich liberal celebrities, who think that because they’ve achieved success in one sphere, they gain the right to be taken seriously in every other sphere. And his politics, just like those of the tax-avoiding Irish crooner, are a joke.

[snip] His interference in American politics has been just as exasperating. George W Bush was a terrible president, but did Soros really have to go into hypebole, declaring that Bush’s removal, in the 2004 election, was, to him, “a matter of life and death” and claiming that he’d be willing to give up all of his wealth to remove the Republican? Was is it really a victory for the grassroots politics when he, as a foreign-born trader, gave $24 million to groups opposing Bush in that election? Soros’s side lost, of course – John Kerry was a worse candidate than Bush – and Soros didn’t actually give up his cash, or anything like it. But the humiliation of defeat didn’t stop him smugly declaring his wisdom on politics...

Well, at least Bono has a small modicum of musical talent. All Soros has is immorality, iniquity, and basic thievery.

Bono is downright saintly compared to Satan’s right hand man.

While Bono is no doubt left of center, he at least plays on both sides of the fence. Remember him applauding GWB for his African Aids relief, he essentially said like it or not GWB has done more for Aids then any other President which I took as a mild swipe at Clintoon.

Now The Edge is rumored to be boarding on a Marxist...always keep your eye on the Guitar player.

In a just world, Soros, a Nazi in real life, would be in prison instead of trying to rule the world.
Funny how the left call conservatives ‘Nazis’ and they themselves feed at the trough of this devil.

Speaking of Bono, just last month. I am sure you could not miss his fund raising all the time. They raised 15 million dollars in 2008 and only gave 185,000 to charities. The rest went to “running the agency” . That’s about 1 percent. The groups answer to this was, We are not running a charity here, we are running an advocacy and campaign group here.

So if I donate a tax deductable dollar to Bono he will use this to fly first class, stay first class, and eat first class. All to get to Washington to ask for my tax dollars for causes he supports.

Well I am going to just cut out the middleman and vote for a Democrat :)
