Despite President Obamas weekend visit to the state to boost the candidacy of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Republican Sharron Angle remains slightly ahead in Nevadas U.S. Senate race - for the fourth survey in a row.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Nevada finds Angle with 49% support to Reids 45%. Four percent (4%) like some other candidate in the race, and two percent (2%) remain undecided with one week until Election Day. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Well Harry, as it seems to have turned out, Obama being “light-skinned” and “not speaking with a Negro dialect unless he wanted to” was not much of a boost to your sorry campaign. Perhaps you are also discovering Hispanics are sick of your racist comments about them too. Washington DC will be a much better place with you gone.
Good Riddance.

Does anyone know if the sitting majority leader of the Senate or the house has ever been not re-elected before?Yes. Tom Foley (D-WA) was Speaker of the House when he was defeated for re-election in 1994.

Any incumbent who is at 45% at this stage of the game is toast. If the entire 2% of Undecideds went for Reid, he'd still be behind. The only way Angle loses this Election is if it is stolen from her; for real.

Good news and bad news...if Reid loses but the Democrats retain control of the Senate, Chucky Schumer will probably be at the helm.
We need to run the table and take the Senate, too!

“Too close. Reid can steal it.”
Way better than being behind! Surge to victory! But I agree, take nothing for granted.

Tom Daschle Actually, Daschle was just the minority leader at the time he lost in 2004 (GOP re-took the Senate in 2002), but very well close enough.

Not to mention the POTUS race. If that happens as hoped, we have a fighting chance to overturn obamunist care and right the course of the country with smaller, Constitutionally guided, federal government.

Awesome news. Even though shes under 50%, shes gained some ground on the percentages. Looks like people got wise to Kisjian and that "Tea Party of Nevada" nonsense. Plus, the most of the undecideds will likely break toward Sharron.
Please, dear Lord... please see this through.

Harry will debut his stand up comedy act after he loses the election. Guffaws and tear provoking laughter will be heard all over Las Vegas. Clubs up and down the strip are vying to be the first to sign him up. Get ready, America, Mr. Excitement is here!
