You've probably heard the campaign line: Rick Scott, son of a trucker and a JCPenney clerk, sold TV Guide, slung newspapers, cleaned phone booths, stocked groceries. Joined the Navy after high school, married his sweetheart, bought a doughnut shop and gave his mother a job, went on to law school and soon began accumulating hospitals until, about 10 years later, he owned the largest chain in the country.
His story checks out.
Even the Eagle Scout bit.

Bill McCollum finally gave in and endorsed him on Friday.
And Scott is leading or tied in the most recent set of polls.
Nice to hear he is not the demon Mcollum and Sink made him out to be.
I listened to Sarah’s speech today from Orlando, and heard her praise McCollum, wondered if he had endorsed him. I also had an email where some dem ex-mayor in South Florida endorsed Rick, can’t find it. He is up by 3,3 and 6 from the last 3 polls at RCP. I sure want him to win.
Ouch! My eyes! That Olan Mills studio shot is not helping!
I voted for Rick Scott in the primary and will gladly vote for him in the general. It seems to be the only race in FL with some suspense.
This is reminiscent of the all the wonderful anecdotal stories I’ve read about the young Obama. Oh crap, come to think of it, I haven’t seen any so I couldn’t have read any.
I voted yesterday and voted for Rubio and Scott. I sure hope he wins. Sink would be a disaster, she a moderate you know, LOL.
Minus the part about ‘slinging newspapers’, ‘buying hospitals’, ‘cleaning telephone booths’, and ‘giving his mother a job’,
I can totally see how he takes after Obama.
I met Rick Scott last week in Sarasota at a Early Voting Kickoff. After the rally, Rick made sure to shake every hand, take every photo requested, and engaged in conversation with anyone and everyone who wanted to discuss his campaign for Governor.
Gulf Coast Business Review had a good article by Matt Walsh (link below) about The Real Rick Scott. In his article, Walsh ignores the political attacks and dives into the truth about Ricks time with Columbia-HCA in order to give you a behind the scenes (with inside sources) to Ricks performance at Columbia-HCA. Its a fascinating report on Rick Scotts background, personality, business success, and it will give you great insight to how he will manage the state.
Your vote for Governor may be the most important vote you cast this year.....especially with redistricting and the 2012 Election ahead.

For you Florida voters...http://www.review.net/section/detail/10-15-2010-the-real-rick-scott/
Nothing like you hear in the press..
Did you expect for the media to tell the truth about Scott?
