New Poll Has Christine O'Donnell Within 6%
Tea Party Express E-Mail | 10/24/2010 | Tea Party Express

Posted on 10/24/2010 12:07:52 PM PDT by rob777

I got the following e-mail from the Tea Party Express and wondered if others had heard of a poll showing Christine this close.

Stunning news to report today, fellow patriots. A brand new poll has Christine O'Donnell surging to within 6% of her Democrat challenger, Chris Coons.

This late-in-the-campaign surge replicates her surge in the polls in the GOP primary, when everyone had written her off and said she could never win.

She proved the so-called "experts" wrong before and she seems poised to do so again!

With just 10 days left until Election Day, we would love nothing more than to defeat Barack Obama's and Harry Reid's candidate, Chris Coons, and give the media heartburn by electing Christine O'Donnell to the U.S. Senate.

But now we've got to give it everything we've got because it seems the national Republican Party has abandoned her and is refusing to put money into her campaign. But we here at the Tea Party Express aren't abandoning Christine O'Donnell, and we're committed to helping her win, just as we did in the primary.

It’s probably a poll that the tea party commissioned themselves. They probably should’ve mentioned that in their email, if it is the case.

For the Delaware primary, the Tea Party did some polling and it was right on the money.

If it turns out that it’s a Tea Party poll, and it was done by NSON research, I would have confidence in the results. I definitely would be confident that a real poll was actually taken.

But there hasn’t been any new info out there confirming the source of the poll or any more additional details.

I myself am very interested at looking at this poll.

Google News has no report of any new poll. Favorable or otherwise.

But if an E-mail from the Tea Party Express says it’s true, who am I to be skeptical. It’s on the internet. It must be a fact.

What you’re saying is true, there is no report of a new poll.

But I do tend to believe tea party express here. Others have gotten the same email.

And tea party express did the same kind of stuff in September in Delaware for the Primary. They would tease the poll in a email, and release the details later. Their polling for the primary was very good. And, I’m very interested in reading this poll. If it’s a TPE / NSON poll, I’d definitely believe that Christine is at 6%. Typically, TPE does release more details about the poll later. I’ll wait and see what the details are, but I’m expecting good results. It’s possible that they polled Saturday and Sunday and they were half done when they came up with the 6%.

I do wish that TPE was a little more detailed at this point about their poll.

UST IN...

The Tea Party Express poll just released that Christine O’Donnell is closing the gap on Chris Coons. Christine is now within six (6) points of Coons.

Stunning news to report today, fellow patriots. A brand new poll has Christine O’Donnell surging to within 6% of her Democrat challenger, Chris Coons.
This late-in-the-campaign surge replicates her surge in the polls in the GOP primary, when everyone had written her off and said she could never win.

She proved the so-called “experts” wrong before and she seems poised to do so again!

Remember, it was the TPE polls that helped propel Christine O’Donnell to victory over Mike Castle. This is going to be a horse race!

COD will win and expose the lies of the LSM that tried to demonize her.

While I am ever hopeful for her I am taking this post with a grain of salt until I see the actual poll and who took it.

One thing is for certain if she wins, she will not be in debt to The National RINO Senate Committee.

I would hope that the new trend is not “polls without any data.”

Oh, btw, 10 new polls out, great polls. All have Christine up. Yeah, you just have to take my word on that.

It, always, bothers me, when all GOP candidates-especially if they are, also, conservative candidates-aren’t given any serious “boosts” with enough attention, support, and money, from every level, followed by enough votes to, actually, win their races. I would love to see two new Republican U.S. Senators from New York, another from Vermont, another from Maryland, another from Oregon, and another from Hawaii. The Democratic candidates from all of these areas are just as bad as all of the other Democratic candidates, from all of the other ongoing U.S. Senate races.

4 of those 6 seats I would've seen as winnable.

Not Schumer or Leahy.

None of those 4 candidates are particularly strong, and none of those candidates were tea party express candidates, Sarah Palin endorced.

They're standard GOP candidates. The GOP is perfectly happy to lose in those races.

Christine O'Donnell is a star. The candidates in those 6 races aren't stars. And that's the difference. The DE GOP SUED the tea party prior to the primary. Still Christine won, because she's a star. Someone people care about. Conservatives love her, Liberals hate her.

But, who is giving Christine a "boost"? Ordinary people who love Christine are giving her money. They are providing the boost.

No one really passionately cares about those 6.

If they were better candidates, charismatic, attractive, Conservative, with a good outsider bio, they would get a similar boost to Christine. But they aren't. They're just fodder.

Look at them.

Here's Cam from Hawaii

Here's Jay from NY

Here's Eric from Maryland

Here's Jim from Oregon

Now, Joe DioGuardi does have a bit of star power through his daughter, Kara of American Idol fame. Have Scott Brown come and campaign with him, bring their daughters.

Open your wallets again folks. Go online and GIVE. Even if it is $3.

And give to FR, too, while you are at it.
