It, always, bothers me, when all GOP candidates-especially if they are, also, conservative candidates-aren’t given any serious “boosts” with enough attention, support, and money, from every level, followed by enough votes to, actually, win their races. I would love to see two new Republican U.S. Senators from New York, another from Vermont, another from Maryland, another from Oregon, and another from Hawaii. The Democratic candidates from all of these areas are just as bad as all of the other Democratic candidates, from all of the other ongoing U.S. Senate races.
4 of those 6 seats I would've seen as winnable.
Not Schumer or Leahy.
None of those 4 candidates are particularly strong, and none of those candidates were tea party express candidates, Sarah Palin endorced.
They're standard GOP candidates. The GOP is perfectly happy to lose in those races.
Christine O'Donnell is a star. The candidates in those 6 races aren't stars. And that's the difference. The DE GOP SUED the tea party prior to the primary. Still Christine won, because she's a star. Someone people care about. Conservatives love her, Liberals hate her.
But, who is giving Christine a "boost"? Ordinary people who love Christine are giving her money. They are providing the boost.
No one really passionately cares about those 6.
If they were better candidates, charismatic, attractive, Conservative, with a good outsider bio, they would get a similar boost to Christine. But they aren't. They're just fodder.
Look at them.
Here's Cam from Hawaii
Here's Jay from NY
Here's Eric from Maryland
Here's Jim from Oregon
Now, Joe DioGuardi does have a bit of star power through his daughter, Kara of American Idol fame. Have Scott Brown come and campaign with him, bring their daughters.
