Right on, both posts, and I love that idea !
This sounds like a big to do about nothing.
...Individuals who run for office expect that their past will be researched and revealed, and therefore, lose their previously held expectations of privacy, Burbank said.
We need to get Obama into this guys courtroom”...
Stunning, isn’t it?
...”lets hope that the good people of Alaska see this for what it is ...a desparate election manipulation by a ruling class loser...
I hope Miller uses this in his campaign”...
I am so impressed with Miller..I cannot imagine that Alaskans would not see through all this. He should put out an ad which references the ruling class and how they feel entitled to “own” government seats.
...”We should have a running dirty tricks thread this week, summing up all the bullets the Dems and their media pals fire at our candidates”...
Great idea..That might be very effective, coming on the heels of the big exposure of the anti-American values of NPR.
Obama. My first thought too when I read the header.
Yeah, sure, unless your last name, or alias, happens to be "Obama". How can a RETIRED judge order this. Does he still have that much authority in Alaska?
This is how we got Obama and Jack Ryan’s divorce records.
Tea Party candidates should understand that the first assistant hired in persuit of election is a private detective. They should understand that every aspect of their life, public or private, will be investigated, and it is only fair to go after their opponents. It may seem like dirty pool, but it is the way politics is played by the Democrats. I am sure that investigation of Lisa Murkowski’s tenure in Washington should pick up some juicy morsels.
Looks like the active judges wanted no part of this investigation:
.........
Recently retired Judge Winston Burbank started a process today that could resolve the case ahead of the Nov. 2 election. Burbank was brought in to hear the case after several sitting judges recused themselves or were disqualified from the case.......

Alaskan politics have historically been some of the most corrupt in the country.
In the CNN interview, Miller admitted he was disciplined for misusing borough computers but called it “petty” and added “it was during my lunch hour.”
Alledgedly Obama has committed social security fraud, money laundering, false statements on his IL State Bar application, gotten support attending America’s elite universities as a “foreign student”, among other high crimes against our nation and this judge is concerned about a candidate for a State senator and his personnel records. Equal Justice under the law - Joe Miller should publicly declare that he is prepared to release those files when Obama has released all of his “protected files”.

Joe Miller unlike Obama does have a past and I see no reason why it cannot be made public.
The more the left make a scene about this the more it should apply to all candidates, nobody should be higher than the law of the land.Even the President.
I think its a bad idea to force a judge to issue an order of releasing a persons full lifes history when we know its all about finding the smallest piece of controversy, and to perform a stage trick with that to sway voters opinions.
The timing of it is morally questionable. We all know that and it only paints the Murkowski team a sicker shade of green.
Hummm, unlike Obama? What the heck does that mean but it is funny, was that your intent?
That was the point of my original post, so I guess we have no disagreement. LOL
