Now you are really scaring me..
I have a fear of water I have on my mind what could be under me in the water....but guess what I am a great swimmer, in pools..
i only thougth sh*t like that existed in low budget ScyFi movies!
Depends on his cast(e).
I had heard as a boy of giant catfish around the base of the Bagnell dam which impounds the Osage river creating the Lake of the Ozarks. Not certain why they’d be near the base of the dam unless it would be a superior food source.
"I never drink water because of the disgusting things fish do in it." - WC Fields :-)
Well then, we had a friend who as a teenager went boating by night with friends. They hunted water moccasins on a river in Oklahoma. They’re a very aggresive snake. Creeps me out!

Bull sharks do swim up freshwater rivers from the ocean.
"What's interesting about the bull shark is that it's not just found in the ocean. It's one of only two species of shark that can live in freshwater -- the other is the rare river shark."
"Bulls are commonly seen in rivers and lakes, and not just in tidal creeks -- these guys really get around. They've been reported 2,200 miles (3,700 km) upstream the Amazon River and as far up the Mississippi River as Illinois."

Border Patrol needs to put a couple of hundred in the Rio Grande River. Wet-Back problem solved!
Hey we have a pond (tank for the country people)that are full of water moccasins and I stay away from there...The kids around here go down and shoot them for target practice..Well older kids..
LOL!Sorry I am not like WC I do drink lots of water,Just have a filter system..I don’t buy bottled water it might have the fish poop in it..:)
That's actually possible. The author of "Jaws" was partly inspired by the true story of a Great White" that swam up a river (I believe, in New York State) and killed and ate a young boy.
I’d laugh if those hillbillies that stick their arms into holes to pull out fish came out with one of these. Noodlers, that’s it.
Matawan Creek - Toms River NJ - 1916 - two boys swimming 11 miles from ocean killed by shark.
“Aqua Buddha”
I LOL!
I am pretty sure piranha live in South America. Tiger fish live in Africa and look absolutely nothing like a piranha. They look like a stripped bass with an attitude. I have caught quite a few Tigers on the Zambezi and Angua rivers in Zimbabwe. They are fantastic fighters and are extremely smart. On the first cast it looks like several torpedoes are coming for the lure and then there is an explosion as the first fish smashes the lure. They dive deep and then erupt from the water like a cross between a striped bass and a bluefish. Second cast a couple of fish chase it and they completely ignore the third cast. Change lures and it starts all over again. After you catch about 4 or 5 fish you have to move because they are educated. Plus the crocs have figured out where you are and the commotion has pissed off the hippos.
I was fishing a deep hole in a otherwise dry river and after the 3rd catch a hippo slowly arose from the depths and blew mist all over me. Pretty nerve wracking since I did not think there was enough water to hide a hippo. I was surprised the tiger fish did not eat him.
Matt's dad helped us get it up to the house, where a game warden came and picked it up. The game warden said that it was the largest turtle he'd ever seen in his career. He took it out to the back end of Fort Hood and released it in an isolated pond so that it could live the rest of its life in peace.
I don’t know how you had the nads to sit there and fish that. I was on a river in Kruger while taking a short break from work in Louis Trichardt and given the crocs, hippos, occasional elephant and various other more than lethal creatures, I decided to stay in the truck. Was awesome to see though. I love Africa.
