Congratulations to the editors at the Washington Post. Seventeen months after the Eric Holder Justice Department dismissed a slam-dunk case against the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation, the Post gets around to printing a thorough vetting of the dismissal. The story is slated for Saturdays print edition. While other media like Breitbart/The Bigs, Fox News, the Washington Times, the Weekly Standard, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Investors Business Daily, Pajamas Media, and Drudge have had dozens of stories on the corrupt New Black Panther dismissal, the Washington Post at last is in the game.
The story is a shocker too. The shock comes from the middle of the road and factual nature of the story.
There are small problems with the story. For one, the Washington Post is the only outlet that calls King Samir Shabazz by his old slave name (Shabazzs own words) of Maruse Heath. Even Heath doesnt call himself Heath. Of course this takes some of the sting off Shabazzs rants against Jews and calls to kill cracker babies in their crib.
The Posts decision to change a mans name for him is controversial. It has no place

This story is not going to die.....just like a character in a bad Holloween movie.
Breitbart is Da Man.
Like president Barry Soetoro.
“This story is not going to die.....just like a character in a bad Holloween movie.”
Of course it’s not going to die—it will provide impetus for the Panthers and their followers to do the same and worse without fear of prosecution.
Not going to hold my breath. But this is positive news.
I will actually go to their website to read that article...one of the very few times I have ever done so.
About damn time.
Well, no, not like it at all. Bozo changed his own name, a paper didn't do it out of hand.
There are two types of prosecution: Formal, & street. They don’t want street. With street, there is no appeal.
The Post is reading the tea leaves on the up coming election and has concluded that to stay alive financially and try to rehabilitate itself somewhat, it better slide back a little from its ultra liberal perch. I call the maneuver, johnnie-come-lately pandering, you can call it whatever you want.
Better later than never. Is the WH losing it’s grip on MSM?
(WaPo story has 655 comments.)
there is a reason they have it on a Saturday instead of Sunday.. They want to look like they are critical but really don’t want anyone to see it. This allows them to maintain some credibility but stay in the good graces of the regime.
655 already? Is it linked to FR?
This is actually one area where impeachment could be justified. It’s a story that people easily “get.”

Hmmm....
Here’s your October surprise: Obama fires Holder. Their polling on black turnout must be really bad. They’re not worried about upsetting the black base. Besides, they know no blacks will vote republican anyway.
In the months after the case ended, tensions persisted. A new supervisor, Julie Fernandes, arrived to oversee the voting section, and Coates testified that she told attorneys at a September 2009 lunch that the Obama administration was interested in filing cases - under a key voting rights section - only on behalf of minorities.
"Everyone in the room understood exactly what she meant," Coates said. "No more cases like the Ike Brown or New Black Panther Party cases."
the Obama administration was interested in filing cases only on behalf of minorities.
Is this the post-racial presidency Obama promised? The article points out earlier that Bush was using a race-neutral approach--exactly what people would expect from a post racial presidency.
Who was the real post-racial president: Obama or Bush?
Saturday news from the comPost and the NYSlimes always disappears into the ether. That’s why they print truth on Saturday.
NO ONE READS THE SATURDAY PAPERS
Published on Saturday, PRECISELY because it’s Saturday and readership is lower...
