Our new television ad looks at the the strange things Christine O'Donnell has said, the latest of which includes attacks on Chris Coons' record of service to New Castle County.
Better someone who believes that the earth is 6K years old than someone who thinks that Karl Marx is a good economic role model. What does Chris Coons have against someone’s religious beliefs? Sounds like a lack of tolerance for people from other faiths. What’s next, Coons will start making jokes about Jews or mocking Hindu’s religious practices?
I predict she wins by nearly 2 points. This is a tidal wave like we haven’t seen since at least 1894 (not 1994).
If I did my tax returns the way they do the government budget I wonder what would happen to me?
I have heard talk that in fact 100 seats are in play in the House alone.
NO DEM is a shoe in. None.
You could have 100+ change hands. So many that Boehner might not be a shoe-in as speaker... If there are 100+ new GOPs elected, would love to be a fly on the wall at that first caucus gathering...
As it was noted Coons does not come across as a likable guy when people meet him, he was warned not to do a debate with Christine and despite what media people say Coons came off as shady, Christine held her own.
What I’m saying is that the problem is Coons, people are not gun-hoe for Coons and are not happily voting FOR Coons; the enthusiasm gap is on Christine side.....The reason Obama and Biden came was to indeed get out the liberal vote as much as they can for Coons because most of the moderates don’t like Coons despite what some polls say and are not settle on O’Donnell yet
If Barney Frank, Patty Murray, Barbara Boxer and Alan Grayson are in trouble, this is 1894 redux.
Nope...race is stilla blowout. Coons just needs to justify all the cash he has raised. And believe me as someone who has dine mucho ads, it is FUN for his staff to come up with this stuff.
I agree. Everyone seems to be underestimating this wave, but it is going to be massive.
After the 1894 election, the Republicans controlled both Houses--244-105-7 in the House and 43-39-6 in the Senate. They went from being down almost 2-1 in the House to having a better than 2-1 advantage.
The reason for the turnaround: the Panic of 1893 (that is, economic depression).
