And this lite general is telling Christians and conservatives to get with the gay program or get out?

Reverse your logic. Romans 1 says God "gave them up to depravity" due to their sins. Homosexuality IS the judgment. America is being "given up" to homo-depravity due to its unbelief, thankfulness, etc. In spite of homo-promo bills being voted down again and again, the country is being 'given up' to this depravity.
