As I posted earlier, Williams never impressed me.
On TV, he always looked like a dear in the headlights.
I wonder if he even knew that he was playing with Communist.
And NPR has offended those with mental health issues. I love it.
The thing that stands out to me is what weaklings the left are.
Shirley Sherod (sic?) gets fired over the phone while pulled off on the side of the road.
Juan Williams is fired over the phone and then insulted in the media.
To mean, as a manager and leader of people in the workplace, that they have no balls. You do not discipline people over the phone and when you fire them you look them in the eye, show them the reason, and pull the trigger.
This is not a macho thing. Because when you get to the point where you are firing someone you have done everything to warn them and you need to make sure they KNOW why they are being fired.
In these cases, the behavior would have had to have been so outrageous, that you need to look them in the eye for them to understand WHY you are so pissed off at them.
Firing people over the phone is what cowards do.

I think that he is/was a leftist, not a commie, but the Democrat party and the left has drifted even past him. Like Ronald Reagan, IF Juan continues his course correction: "I didn't leave the political left. The political left, left me."
